“As a former marine our crew stopped in on a wet Saturday during Americade , no clue about anything but they had slushies and beer. OMG!! The owners Chris and Heather were so personable and friendly. There knowledge of what they talked about was second to none . They made our group of 11 feel right home. The drinks and the drink names totally on point ! Are only disappointing point is we didn’t know about this place years ago ! It was the best part of our trip this year and can’t wait till our next visit . “Discovered Artisanal several years ago at a beer fest in Westchester County. My wife fell in love with their Raspberry Chocolate Lava Cake stout, so they were immediately added to our list of breweries to visit. Happy coincidence that they're located in a town we visit at least once a year. So they've become a regular stop each time we're up that way. While they don't brew the Lava Cake often enough, they do make some other very good beers. They do serve food, but we've yet to eat there. Inside is a bit small but they do have an outdoor beer garden as well. Live music by local musicians is also a highlight. Friendly, knowledgeable staff will help you choose a beer in a style you prefer. We love to support small, local breweries and this one is amongst our favorites.“

“My sister and I recently reserved the Glens Falls Tap Room for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party. We started planning over a year in advance and corresponded with Anne Barry and Torey. They were both amazing to deal with and made the planning process so seamless! Anne was beyond accommodating to any and all requests that we had. She even went as far as to block my parents from their facebook page so they would not see when Mean Max posted that they would be closed for a private party. Any questions we had were always answered thoroughly and promptly. There was a couple times where we stopped into the taproom and Torey was working. He was amazing in assisting us with any additional questions we had. We had a slide show on a usb cable that they happily projected on their wall in the taproom as well as on one of their tvs. The party went off without a hitch and we would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. Our bartender, Christa, was beyond amazing and so friendly with everyone. She was beyond helpful with anything and everything we needed and our guests adored her! Overall we can't express enough how much Mean Max made our event perfect and catered to everything we asked. They are amazing to work with and did everything they could to make our event a success!!! We highly recommend them whether you're looking to reserve for a private party or just go and visit their taproom and have some amazing beers!!! From the start, Patty met most every request with a prompt response that was both positive and reassuring. The space was perfect for our group, the food was met with positive reviews from all of our group of folks from toddlers to seniors, and the service provided by Allison, Candace and the rest of their crew was sweet, attentive, and efficient. If you are looking for a nice space with a local history vibe and unpretentious atmosphere with consistently good food and great service, Cooper's Cave is a great option.
