“This place is a gem! I'm so happy they opened this location! I was sad when the one on Main Street closed down due to a fire but the chef came to this location! The service was great and the coconut chicken was so juicy and tender. My dad is from Hainan so I can say the taste is definitely authentic. They even have clay pot rice! The casserole was very flavorful too. This is going to be our new spot from now on! I highly recommend this place. Definitely try their coconut dessert ~ to die for!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“So glad we tried this restaurant. Really tasty food- very fresh and nice portions. Ordered sesame tofu- egg foo young and steamed vegetable dumplings as an appetizer . Food had great flavor - light and fluffy vegetable fried rice which comes with the egg foo young dinner combo along with an egg roll which was also light and crispy not at all greasy like some places. Definitely will keep this as a favorite Chinese food place.“

Furthermore, their commitment to philanthropy shines brightly as they recently extended a gracious hand to support the local Indian association with complimentary starters. “Food is super fresh and taste good. It’s not like you’re traditional NYC corner Chinese food. Their fried rice is not the same and the fried chicken winds are not the same. However it does taste good. If you’re looking for the signature NYC Chinese food fried rice and chicken wings this isn’t the spot. Everything else looks to be the same.“

“Nice looking restaurant. Service was really good. Attentive. The food was 3.8. The dam dam noodles were a little salty for my taste but the duck fried rice made up for it. Lychee martini must be the first real martini I ever had. Pretty strong. Not sure if i liked it enough to go back.“

“Me and my wife's first time trying this place out after driving passed them constantly. First of all, the service? Lightning fast, second of all the portions gigantic, and to finish, it was cheap. Incredible flavor, cheap prices, great service 10/10“

“Expansive menu, very difficult to navigate if you don't speak the language. There are a lot of tasty items once you figure them out. It's a pricey endeavor, but worth it for the experience. Highly suggest the dumplings, considering it IS a dumpling house. Salt and Pepper Chicken is solid, and you can't go wrong with the variety of skewers. One thing to know is that they have two different prices for each item, regular pricing and "member" pricing. If you purchase a membership, everything is slightly less expensive... but if you're not eating there often enough, or with a large party - you're paying more than saving. I'd check it out if you have the opportunity. Recommended.“

“Came here to grab a quick bite before going on my day and this is your typical neighborhood neighborhood Chinese takeout spot. You have a large menu with fairly good options and the standard bright yellow fried rice that's usually around. The price is reasonable and there are lunch specials and combo options too. Not bad for somewhere to get something quick. It's more a takeout spot but you can also sit and eat if you want to and they are pretty accommodating in that regard. Not a bad option to consider in the area.
Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian section and if there are other questions and requests, please ask the staff. They might be able to accommodate you
Dietary restrictions: Please ask the staff and see if it is possible to accommodate you
Parking: This is in a strip mall that is a popular destination so it can get busy here. But there are usually enough spots available
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible“

“Bijay da’s restaurant is the best. The food is palatable, authentic, unique and so tasty that I don’t go anywhere else to have Indian and Bangladeshi food. Moreover Bijay da’s behavior is excellent and he takes good care of everyone. Food is really extraordinary and exceptional and prices are quite reasonable.“

“This is crazy. The service here is amazing! Definitely a place where I would go. It was my first time eating here and wow. The waitress helped us and wow he was so nice in giving us advice. We were about to get so much food that he said we were definitely not going to finish. I’m definitely coming here more often!“

“Great lunch special options.
We had jjampong which is a spicy hand pulled noodles with seafood. Their broth has deep oyster/seafood taste and it was one of the best I had.
Combination of various dishes and jajangmyon (brown noodle) are great.
I took out shrimp with brown noodles and dumplings for my son and he loved it.
I got the sweet and sour beef (Tangsuyuk) for my in-laws and they really enjoyed it.
Quick and efficient service. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.“

“I've had my share of Chinese food some good some bad and some in between. This place..... amazing!!! It starts with the polite and positive vibes you get when you call to place an order. Then you go there to pick it up (if you are not getting a delivery) and the place is immaculate. So clean and well kept and the atmosphere and energy is consistent with the phone call. They pay attention to detail, get your order right, and the outcome is a satisfied customer. After the first two times ordering food here I was afraid to go again. Thought they were definitely on course to mess something up. Nope, this place is the real deal!!!!“

“It's become quite difficult to find a sit down Chinese restaurant in Queens, so we had to venture into New Hyde Park & we're glad we found this place! We were pleasantly surprised by the large menu that included several vegetarian options. The portions were large and included carrots in the shape of a flower. They have a lunch menu until 3PM.“

“The people here really go out of they're way for you. The food is pretty good. I ordered chow fon pork and it was delicious. The boneless spare ribs were on point, better than other places in this area.
The egg rolls were nice and crispy, and flavour full. My father in law said he liked the seafood delight. I liked the dumplings, they were really authentic. My dad said the chicken and broccoli was good, and he used to run a restaurant.
My only issue was the egg rolls were smaller than other places, and the hot spicy beef forgot the beef. It was all onions and peppers...
Despite that they gave us a coupon and over all I would definitely eat here again.“

“Typical Chinese takeout place, yello fried rice versus the typical brown, the chicken was flat white meat versus the dark meat chunk style on my chicken and cashews but it had a decent flavor. Soup was standard nothing overly good or bad about it. Egg roll was crispy and fresh, I'd eat here again.“

“General Tso Chicken - 9.5/10. Crispy, light sauce, not too sweet, not much corn starch which made the sauce liquidity and bottom chicken soggy. Still very delicious.Curry chicken. 10/10. Superb cooking technique, chicken very tender, veggies blanched just right. Flawless execution. Must order.Beef with garlic sauce 9.5/10. Beef very tender, cooking technique very well. Broccoli slightly over blanched, but still crunchy, rest of veggies cooked well. The negative 1/2 pt is for too much red food coloring dye, it’s a bit too much. This place rates a solid 4.8/5.0. Very impressed and wish it was closer. 25 min drive away.“

“The interior is on the plain side, but it is clean. We placed a to-go order on the kiosk. It seems that a lot of their business is to-go. We ordered the beef noodle soup and the zha jiang mian. The beef noodle soup was savory and tasty, but rather salty. We thought the zha jiang mian was a little bland and just okay. Our order also came with some small containers of peanuts and pickled vegetables, which was a nice surprise. Overall, the food was decent, but I wouldn’t come here often as each noodle dish came out to an average of $16.“

“Ordered Wonton Soup Hot sour Soup and vegetable Lo mein with house mustard and they were all delicious. I think it may have been the daughter who answered the phone and was there when I picked up my order she looked straight at me with a welcoming smile. “The key point is that in addition to the dishes on the menu, you can also order private dishes, such as fried lobster in the typhoon shelter, Teochew frozen crab, roasted duck in the open stove, charcoal-roasted conch, and stewed soup over a long fire. . . You can make reservations by calling in advance. Chef Bo is an authentic Cantonese cuisine chef and his skills are very good.“

“Chinese food restaurant. Order in, or take out. There is so much to choose from on the menu. I love the Peking duck. There are parking meters in the area. No restroom available.

“If you can find a Chinese restaurant with better food and service, don’t hesitate to take the next flight out of JFK.
Vegetarian options: Moo Shoo vegetable is the best.
Parking: Should be enough parking or park across the street.
Kid-friendliness: I came here as a kid. They made a Shirley Temple for me. Great vanilla ice cream. I’m 61 now and I think the staff is the same. Is that possible?
Wheelchair accessibility: All one level. Vestibule may have a door stop.“

“I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a baby, so I might be a little biased. But this restaurant is the BEST. Their bourbon chicken never disappoints. It’s sweet, tangy, and delicious. Coupled with their sides of rice and beans, it is amazing.
Also, the food is very cheap. One meal can cost only 11 dollars, and for the amount of food that comes with it, it’s a great deal.
In addition, the lady who runs this restaurant is extremely nice. She recognizes me and my family every time we go, even saying my name.
I love this woman. I love this restaurant. I really don’t understand the negative reviews, the restaurant is great.“

“Pearl East is a great place to go for good chinese cuisine. Food is always consistent. Their sushi is good too. The Pink lady roll is awesome. Cocktails are delicious. The Mango martini is my favorite. If you're in Great Neck, NY definitely a must try. Be sure to make reservations if you're going on the weekend. It's always packed. During the week, you are able to get a table quickly. Service on the weekends is a bit slow, but the food makes up for it.“

“Food was good here. Authentic dim sum stuff. However, there isn't a lot of variety to choose from, like how it normally is in most dim sum restaurants. Service was very good. Friendly staff. I'd come back because it's around the way, but I'd have to drive a little further to get a wider variety.“

“Giving Sunrise 5 stars as compared to other fast food chinese take out. They are consistent & fast every time we order from them. We normally request less salt & oil & they’re pretty reliable with our requests. Called in an order at 3:30 which is whn their lunch menu ends and they honored their lunch prices. So yup, they are our go to chinese food in this area.“
