“A delicious take out experience! Food was ready by the time I selected to pick it up, was in and out quick.Food:- Garlic shredded pork (medium spicy) 5/5: this was delicious with just a flavorful and enjoyable level of spice. Spice brought a light burn to my lips, I’m not the most spice tolerant. Sriracha is my happy place spice wise for reference.- sesame chicken 5/5: very tender, juicy chicken. The sauce was sweeter than I expected, but it’s not a dish I’ve gotten before. Very good, especially for lunch the next day.- pork soup dumplings 5/5: very big, filled with delicious pork and soup. Almost too big to eat in one bite - almost! Great portion of soup and pork filling.- pork and sour cabbage fried dumpling 4/5: these were good, nothing remarkable which is why a 4, whereas I thought the other items were very very good. I think the sauce was what I didn’t like as much about them.Based on my experience, I happily recommend Zouji for getting high quality, flavorful Chinese food in Glen Cove. It’s my favorite of the Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in town (3 total). I will be back the next time I’m craving Chinese food!“
“Good food made fresh. Fair prices (even with inflation going crazy). Owners are always very nice and friendly. I normally order the beef with scallions or pork with garlic sauce. It’s always very good and large portions. Fried rice needs a bit more seasoning for my taste but husband loves it! I highly recommend this local small business. Only downside is that they have no online menu.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options!“
“This place is really good. Best general tsos I've had in a long time. This is one of the best Chinese take out spots I've ever tried and I wasn't expecting much due to the previous reviews but I was craving it and you can always tell how good a Chinese take out spot is by the fried rice. I've eaten NYC Chinese take out my whole life and this is def in the top 5 places. Ignore the haters. You won't regret it. Will def be ordering from here again when I'm back here.“
“Great service, nice and clean seating, overall nice place to dine.We ordered their sushi and pineapple chicken from the special menu. Sushi rates high, pineapple chicken was just okay.. from what I observed around, people really enjoyed their hibachi chefs!Parking can be a bit tricky - we visited for dinner and parked in the “back” (I believe that’s the lot for the garage there).. the restaurant said it’s okay to park there. There’s also a “front” parking, so if you’re heading towards it from the rear, pull up to their main parking area.“
“Food was very solid. Walked in, orderd, paid, and out the door in about 10 mins. One negative, went at 2pm, lunch specials are supposed to be until 3pm but was told they dont do lunch specials on sunday (even though it doesnt say that on the menu). Sesame chicken was nice and crispy, perfect amount of sauce and very tasty. The rice was kinda bland though. Not the worst ive had, but not great. Fried wontons were extremely greasy. Very meaty and tasted good, just ridiculously greasy. Wasnt a huge fan of the sauce that came with them.“
“This simply is a great restaurant! Service is fast and friendly, portions and prices are very reasonable. The quality of the food is consistently stellar. One of the best things about China Palace is they were one of the first takeout places to reopen after the pandemic, and they have earnestly worked hard to serve the community during a very difficult time for everyone. We are lucky to have them here!“
“The boss is very nice. He is very particular about the selection of store managers. The fish tastes great. Sometimes there is no fish when I come here. This means the ingredients are fresh enough. I deserve the good business. I come here to eat when I don’t want to go to Flushing. Highly recommended.“
“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again! As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“
“A bit crowded, but no wait for a weekend dinner. Never had the hot pot here, but keep coming back for their Hainanese Chicken. Their sauces are made in house and are the reason we keep coming back. Better than 99% of the spots in Flushing. Everything is ordered through an iPad so you never have to wait if you need to ask for more rice or anything. Great spot for a quick bite or date night.“
“I don’t usually write reviews but I have to for this Chinese food. This is the best Chinese in New York. They care about the quality of their food. They make fresh juice and all of their vegetables are fresh! I’ve tried almost everything here and every meal I tried was an 8 or better!“
