I had an amazing experience at Taco Kings Jalisco — everything was just perfect.
The food tastes authentic, fresh, and full of flavor — you can tell they use quality ingredients. The tacos were incredible, and the burritos were loaded and delicious.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere feels warm and genuine.
Prices are very fair for the quality and portion size.

“We visited Thursday night to check out the trivia night that we heard so much about. We were promptly seated by Amy who suggested a certain spot to hear the questions from. We ordered some apps and some drinks. I stopped a fellow and asked if he was Dave, the owner. He said he was and chatted a bit. The food arrived and let me tell you the pretzel with beer cheese or whatever it is called screamed for a second order. Trivia was fun although I'd like to see a few less phones out. Although there was a younger crowd,we were very comfortable.”

Started off with glass of wine.

For appetizer we started with the eggplant napoleon. I would very much recommend. Great flavor. Very good red sauce.

They provided grilled bread with olive oil and balsamic. There was definitely a hint of truffle. Wife loved the bread.

For entree my wife had the Chicken Scarp. Delicious as well. Very rich brown sauce.
I had the Carbonara Americano. The cream sauce was very good.

For dessert we had espressos with a slice of their chocolate layer cake, yum!

The space has such a perfect mix of cool and class, and their mocktails are truly unreal—some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s an incredible spot for hosting events, and the owners and staff are so down-to-earth, welcoming, and attentive. Such a gem and a true staple in Glens Falls!”

“Can’t recommend Roxy’s cakes enough!!! Roxy went above and beyond for our wedding to ensure the cake toppers we had already purchased would fit on top. She last minute changed from a 3 tier cake to a 2 tier cake to allow for a larger top so they would fit! The cake turned out so beautiful and was better than I had imagined. Roxy promptly responds to emails and is professional yet very personable. We loved working with Roxy and will be ordering again!”

Their scones are really yummy, and the staff are friendly and so helpful! It’s a cute little cafe with high quality offerings. I give them my highest recommendation. Made and ate a wonderful Indian dinner, complete with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a brief break mid event to whip up a pitcher of mango lhassi! The Bourbon Room is closed to the public during these events, so the whole thing feels very private and luxurious. Cesaera had all the ingredients and equipment ready, so everything we needed was right at hand. Came home with a binder of the recipes used, so we can share what we learned with others. Great opportunity to learn new recipes and techniques, and to make new friends. Don't hesitate!”

“My sister and I recently reserved the Glens Falls Tap Room for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party. We started planning over a year in advance and corresponded with Anne Barry and Torey. They were both amazing to deal with and made the planning process so seamless! Anne was beyond accommodating to any and all requests that we had. She even went as far as to block my parents from their facebook page so they would not see when Mean Max posted that they would be closed for a private party. Any questions we had were always answered thoroughly and promptly. There was a couple times where we stopped into the taproom and Torey was working. He was amazing in assisting us with any additional questions we had. We had a slide show on a usb cable that they happily projected on their wall in the taproom as well as on one of their tvs. The party went off without a hitch and we would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. Our bartender, Christa, was beyond amazing and so friendly with everyone. She was beyond helpful with anything and everything we needed and our guests adored her! Overall we can't express enough how much Mean Max made our event perfect and catered to everything we asked. They are amazing to work with and did everything they could to make our event a success!!! We highly recommend them whether you're looking to reserve for a private party or just go and visit their taproom and have some amazing beers!!! Thank you to all the staff at Mean Max that made this party a success!!! We can't express how much we appreciate it!”

The space was perfect for our group, the food was met with positive reviews from all of our group of folks from toddlers to seniors, and the service provided by Allison, Candace and the rest of their crew was sweet, attentive, and efficient. Although we've since relocated to North Carolina, we returned to the Glens Falls area for our son's wedding. At his and his fiancée’s suggestion, we reached out to Davidson Brothers Brewing to host the rehearsal dinner—and we’re so glad we did.

We first visited the brewery in late June and were blown away by the food and beer selection. Fast forward to this past weekend: the rehearsal dinner for over 60 guests was the perfect kickoff to the wedding festivities. Kerry and the entire team at Davidson Brothers were outstanding throughout the planning process. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made everything seamless.
