“I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Golden Monkey Lounge. I moved here from Brooklyn, and the second I walked in, I felt right at home. The space has such a perfect mix of cool and class, and their mocktails are truly unreal—some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s an incredible spot for hosting events, and the owners and staff are so down-to-earth, welcoming, and attentive. Such a gem and a true staple in Glens Falls!”

“This place is the real deal. The grilled bread with the bruschetta and caprese salad has a great flair. The tomatos have some of the best flavor profile I've had. Definitely in the top two of all time. I had the cuppa de pesce for a main course. What a dish full of seafood. Again well cooked and the pasta was perfectly al-dente. They had a creme brulee cheesecake which turns out was a huge suprise. Just as it sounds, really good cheesecake with creme rules flavor and topping. Cant wait to go back again.”

“My sister and I recently reserved the Glens Falls Tap Room for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party. We started planning over a year in advance and corresponded with Anne Barry and Torey. They were both amazing to deal with and made the planning process so seamless! Anne was beyond accommodating to any and all requests that we had. She even went as far as to block my parents from their facebook page so they would not see when Mean Max posted that they would be closed for a private party. Any questions we had were always answered thoroughly and promptly. There was a couple times where we stopped into the taproom and Torey was working. He was amazing in assisting us with any additional questions we had. We had a slide show on a usb cable that they happily projected on their wall in the taproom as well as on one of their tvs. The party went off without a hitch and we would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. Our bartender, Christa, was beyond amazing and so friendly with everyone. She was beyond helpful with anything and everything we needed and our guests adored her! Overall we can't express enough how much Mean Max made our event perfect and catered to everything we asked. They are amazing to work with and did everything they could to make our event a success!!! We highly recommend them whether you're looking to reserve for a private party or just go and visit their taproom and have some amazing beers!!! Thank you to all the staff at Mean Max that made this party a success!!! We can't express how much we appreciate it!”

“Can’t recommend Roxy’s cakes enough!!! Roxy went above and beyond for our wedding to ensure the cake toppers we had already purchased would fit on top. She last minute changed from a 3 tier cake to a 2 tier cake to allow for a larger top so they would fit! The cake turned out so beautiful and was better than I had imagined. Roxy promptly responds to emails and is professional yet very personable. We loved working with Roxy and will be ordering again!”

“Spent a lovely evening with host Cesaera (Che) and her staff. Made and ate a wonderful Indian dinner, complete with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a brief break mid event to whip up a pitcher of mango lhassi! The Bourbon Room is closed to the public during these events, so the whole thing feels very private and luxurious. Cesaera had all the ingredients and equipment ready, so everything we needed was right at hand. Came home with a binder of the recipes used, so we can share what we learned with others. Great opportunity to learn new recipes and techniques, and to make new friends. Don't hesitate!”

It was a busy busy time since there was a game at the Civic Center across the street and every place was packed. The food was outstanding and I would recommend Rocco’s.”

From the start, Patty met most every request with a prompt response that was both positive and reassuring. The space was perfect for our group, the food was met with positive reviews from all of our group of folks from toddlers to seniors, and the service provided by Allison, Candace and the rest of their crew was sweet, attentive, and efficient.
