“These bad reviews are very unfair. Been getting takeout here for years. Food is generally excellent, maybe not top NYC but still good. Service is friendly. Have never once waited an excessive time unless it's a major holiday. I guess I don't doubt that people have had unfortunate bad experiences but of the hundred+ times for us, not once!“

“By far the best Chinese food ever. I’m 53 years old and i had ate so much Asian food, because it’s my favorite and this place has the best general Tso and chicken wings I had ever eaten. They won a few awards for the best Chinese restaurant in Orange County. The family who owns the place is genuinely kind and friendly. Parking available on the side of the building. Cash only, don’t deliver.“

“I really didn't have any expectations at first. But the lady here is amazingly sweet. A man came in with no money and fed him. She said she does it a lot because people have to eat. She better than she gave full meals i would've given an egg roll and some water. Food was really good taste like old school Chinese food. And she had some banging crap sticks my favorite.“

“I was looking for a good chinese food place around the Pine Bush, NY area and found good reviews on Peking Garden in Middletown, NY, 30 minutes away from where we were. Decided to take a chance and it was a great decision. The food was absolutely delicious, the price was fair and portions were big enough for our family of three. Even though I didn't ask, it didn't seem like one could dine-in. The service was very good and the place looked clean. Many customers came to pick up their orders while I was there, so the food was moving constantly. The kitchen looked clean as well, and it smelled delicious while they were preparing our food. One thing we completely forgot was to take pictures of the food, but it really was worth the drive and the time spent to pick it up.“

“The food slaps and it’s the go to spot in Middletown, they listen to how you want your food prepared it’s always hot and fresh and not greasy or salty. Boneless spares ribs are great fried wontons are great pretty much whatever you order is good“

“You You is simply the best! I live over 45 minutes away from this restaurant and will go nowhere else for Chinese cuisine! The staff are amazing (especially our favorite waiter Jason), the owners Francine, Louis and their son make you feel son make you feel so appreciated and welcome in their restaurant. Our visit always starts in the bar for a traditional drink - Zombies (did I mention how amazing the drinks are?!) then off to a nice table for a most delicious dinner! I will take the long drive to get the food they serve. It’s very flavorful. Food preparation is on point once in a while if there is a problem, you bring it to their attention, and they will handle it to your satisfaction .
I wish they would open the dining area that is about it.

“The longest running Chinese restaurant to have lasted, in Montgomery. Yen refuses to raise her prices, because she feels obligated to her customers, who have supported her for years. Truly is kind and hard working.

Family run between herself and her husband only. Hard working people with good food. Sometimes it is a miss, but, that is like anything cooked with family or at home. Never anything bad though. Affordable lunch and dinner specials, they truly do care about their customers. Known them for years. Place needs a revamp, but, still a good place to get an affordable lunch. I wish they brought back their sushi. I grew up on her cooking.

“Just tried for the first time today. Although the coconut chicken and fried dumplings were delicious, the Lobster Lo Mein was horrible. There wasn’t even lobster in it.. It was more like rubber bands that resembled crayfish. Drove too far to get my money back.“

This is a Great family owned restaurant, food is very fresh, and their methods prevent grease in the food. Their sauces don't coagulate and taste amazing, so there's no gel like substance or anything unpleasant. Watching them cook is exciting, and they have are a very friendly family. Give them a try!“

“I have been getting take out here for years. I love their hot and sour soup. Unusual recipe but delicious. Their portions are quite a lot larger than the competition. For example their egg rolls have not been downsized like nearly all their local competition. Original size and 30% or so larger than other similar restaurants. Fried dumplings brings you 2 more than you get elsewhere as is true of the won tons in their WT soup.Orders are ALWAYS accurate which is refreshing. Never once have they missed over the years. Read some of my other reviews to see how error rate on many area takeout facilities can be brutal.Secret ingredient is their hostess, Annie. Friendly, kind, and always wanting to please. She knows I like fortune cookies, so always throws in some extra. Very sweet!Overall Grade A-“

“Probably the best Chinese food to order from if you live in the Monroe or Harriman area. The meats are always cooked great. Top of the line Chinese food. Only mediocre item on their menu is the rice. Try the basil beef or Katsu chicken or chicken dumplings with spicy sauce. Great place and delivery.“

“Decent food. The place looks dingy and dirty. Nothing a broom, cleaning products, and a gallon of paint could not fix. Sadly, most Chinese take out places are equally poorly kept up. I just hope it is not a reflection of how the kitchen is maintained.“
