“Haven't been here in yrs & I won't be coming back. Not how I remembered this old favorite. I had a big foot hot dog that was yuck on a stale roll and French fries that tasted like they were undercooked frozen Oreida ffs. My son had same big foot dog that he didn't like and he ordered the poutine fries that were awful. The cheese curd that come on them were cold & hard, it just made them terrible. Never again. wasted $40“

“I have been here several times since the season has opened. More importantly, I went there tonight (5/2) and was served by Peyton and Lindsay. They both were exceptional, despite the amount of orders that all came in at once, around 7:15pm. The orders were for multiple items and multiple orders stacked up. The service I was provided by both workers was exceptional and I was really appreciative of their customer service. I will definitely be back. Thanks guys.“

“Took my son here for his 18th birthday and it was a great experience. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant with friendlier staff. They were super attentive, always showing up at the perfect time for us to order more meat and refill drinks. On top of that, the food was delicious. 10/10 highly recommend!“

“We ordered Japchae, Tteokbokki, Chicken Katsu and Wonton Soup. Food was really good. The Tteokbokki was missing the fish cakes, otherwise it was very good. Service was great. My only issue was the strong bleach smell from washing the floors while eating.“

“I may be biased after coming to this place for the last 30 something years, but there is a special vibe at The Pub that will always feel like home when you walk in. Between the original juke box loaded with the best of my memories from the 90's, to the pool table and the well poured drinks, I will forever recommend a down and dirty pop in to Essex St. Pub. And there's purse hooks under the bar! Who doesn't love a good hook to hang your bag on while you're bellied up to the bar?“

“I ordered the Filet with loaded baked potato and upgraded and added a side salad. They make their own balsamic vinegrette dressing. So I tried that. It was fantastic. The steak was just melt in yiur mouth and so flavorful, the baked potato was great too. I highly recommend this place. I can't remember the waiters name, (If I do I will add later) but he was very personable and attentive.
I hadn't been to a Longhorn in years. I'm glad I went.“

“5/5! This food was so delicious from start to finish. I think this is our favourite place to eat now. We just couldn’t get over how tasty all of the food was. Cooked to perfection! Great cuts of meat, great choice of bbq sauce used(you can even choose many kinds of bbq sauces to add yourself). Healthy choices were great as well. It so worth the price. Very clean and buffet was well set up. And the staff…. so amazing and so friendly and all around great service. We want to specially thank our server Corey for being so friendly and informative about choices and made our dinner so enjoyable. Would highly recommend. Will come back for sure! Thank you“
