“This has become one of my new favorite getaway spots in Long Island. The food is always fantastic, innovative, and fresh. The cocktail menu gives me something original to choose from, and also includes a great mocktail selection when I’m in the mood. Staff at the restaurant & bar are always so great and accommodating.

I almost don’t want to leave a review so it stays my favorite hidden spot!“

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

“Ate there with my entire family. Started with fresh avocado dip and chips, then had 6 dinners on the menu all different. Everyone DELICIOUS !!. Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!“

The wait staff is warm and makes sure to check in regularly but discreetly. The food is delicious. We love the bread, chopped salad, whole branzino, mac n cheese and much more. The fellow diners are often fun to chat with and watch as well. No matter how often we go, and sometimes it's weekly, our evenings at Dopo always feel special.“

From the energetic atmosphere, the moment you walk into the establishment and are warmly greeted by the superb hospitality of the general manager, Corrado, who will pour you a glass of champagne while he meticulously fillets a Dover sole, everything about this place is a winner!! If you are up for it, order the Soufflé for dessert (but make sure you pre order as it does take a while to prepare)...Make sure Corrado introduces you to his wonderful daughter who servers you with her brilliant smile...Can't wait for the fall when the town calms down and we can go and have a nice quiet meal off season...Add it to your lists of "musts".. Happy Mother's Day. Food is consistent. Eric and the staff is consistent and friendly. Always a good time. Try their Seasonal Beef Empanada, it is delicious. Drinks are always amazing, especially the Pineapple Infused Tequila! Go see them!

““You know the food is good when no one is talking”. Pretty much all that needed to be said as my friends and I recovered after missing breakfast.

I got the burger with the fries+Cole slaw. The burger was great fairly juicy with a special shipped sauce which had a good tang to it whereas the veggies were fresh and well seasoned. The fries were pretty straightforward but thinly cut and salted. I liked the coleslaw but I added it on top of my fries to add additional life to them. Again the fries were good not great.

Server was fairly attentive and the restaurant itself was nothing special in terms of the atmosphere/ aesthetic.

Ultimately it was a restaurant with a more fair pricing compared to other places to eat nearby while still maintaining the quality of the food albeit none of the preppy Hampton vibes.“
