“Nice local pub, low-key and casual. Not a very big food menu at all. But they do encourage you to bring in your own food if you like , there is a pizza parlor right next door. Nice that they have tables not just bar seats. You can play darts if you like.“

“Burger was really good. No complaints at all. Fries were nice, salted well enough. Ketchup was really fresh. Approached the stand for my food and one of the workers continued her conversation just watching me at the window. I had to knock for someone else to turn around and assist me.“

“Hampton Bays used to have a great beach town atmosphere with the highlights being The Drift Inn, Neptune's and of course the Boardy Barn. Sadly they're all gone and all that is left is generations of memories.
I'm happy that someone bought the Boardy Barn and turned it into the Barnyard. Tony and Mickey donated a lot to the community (without the need for publicity) and it's great to see their legacy didn't get torn down. It would have been a scar on the town if "The World Famous Boardy Barn" was turned into a strip mall or worse condominiums full of people with a lot of opinions but not a lot of understanding or appreciation for the history of Hampton Bays. The Boardy Barn was around for almost 50 years and the Barnyard can't replace that much history overnight but I'm confident as the summers pass by and new memories get made the Barnyard will slowly start to fill the legacy that came before it. I know anyone who ever had a Sunday Funday at the Barn is happy to see the Barnyard in its place.
