“I had been searching for a Nathan's hot dog vendor in Suffolk. By accident, I happened upon Pudgie's in Selden.It was nearly noon & I was hungry. Sceptically i looked around after entering. Nothing seemed ready. i ordered two plain dogs, a small fries & an orange soda. 5-6 minutes the counter girl said..$9.75. What? So cheap??. There was a tip jar on the counter. It had been primed with two bucks. A sign on the wall discouraged eating in the shop. 6 minutes later a bell dinged. She brought my bag of food. I paid. I threw three bucks in the tip jar. I went to my car. I had 15 minutes to dine. I opened the bag in my 350z. French fries were on top & the looked like genuine Nathan's fries. I took one out & crammed it into my mouth...it was the best Nathan's French Fry I'd ever had! hot, crispy, not greasy.. I devoured them, but there were more, many more... but where are the hot dogs? i checked my receipt.. two orders of Nathan's Fries& an orange soda. No wonder it was so cheap. What to do? I have no time to wait while they cook my hot dogs. Curses! but aren't these Fries great! I will return...“
“Hi guys, Five guys again. Parking is convenient in front of the store, and it was very nice to eat by the window. Following the five guys hamburger for lunch, I tried it for dinner. If you come to Five Guys, of course you should eat a hamburger, and ketchup on the hearty French fries. And you have to eat one more free peanut to complete the course. Missing something? For in-store dining, you can sample a variety of Coca-Cola beverages. How about Cherry Coke today?Parking: Parking is available right in front of the store, and there are many shopping malls nearby, so free parking is available.“
“I often had lunch at the old location. The best hot dog hero I ever had. I often had mustard, sourkraurt, and those home made onions. But I did try the chili and cheese. No matter what my choice of toppings, the meal was always delicious. If you live or work in the Islip area you probablystop by the stand regularly. If you visit Suffolk or Nassau counties, no matter where your staying, Charlie’s is worth a visit. Charlie’s is truly a Long Island landmark.“
“I've ordered a few times, it's always good. The Fries are absolutely bangin, onion rings crispy, chicken tenders are huge and the peri peri sauce is slammin. Mambo sauce is hella good too. Will def keep ordering here. Food came hot, nothing soggy or cold.“
