“Good food and atmosphere, they also serve alcohol, I had a Texas Margarita which was large and delicious. I got the Carnitas Mexicanas that came with wraps, refried beans and cheese, as well as yellow rice. Everything was delicious and I look forward to going back and maybe try the fish.”

“We had a small get-together at the house yesterday - just some good friends, live music, and a whole lot of great food. Huge thanks to Jake's Grub & Grog for catering the event. They made it super easy from start to finish. We picked a few things off their catering menu, told them how many people we had coming, and they helped us fine-tune everything. From there, they took over. The food came packed up in easy-to-transport boxes and tins, and it was amazing. Everyone had plenty, and we only had the slightest bit left over. If you’ve got an event coming up - big or small - I can’t recommend Jake’s enough. They crushed it.”

“I got married on 9/13/2025 at 916 Riverside and it was one of the best wedding related decisions my husband and I made. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on site and it was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The ceremony was held outdoors on their patio, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how visually stunning it was. We primarily communicated with Jake, the owner, and Brooke, one of the head staff. They were both incredibly helpful and responded immediately whenever we reached out. Anytime I suggested something or asked if it was possible to do X, Y, or Z - Jake accepted with open arms and supported all of our ideas to make our big day personable and meaningful. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but doing so via Jake and Brooke made it as painless as possible, and that is something I am very grateful for. Staff paid attention to small details and ensured that everything got done in the way we envisioned and requested. At the end of our reception, Jake’s staff cleaned up quickly and packed all decorations and center pieces onto two designated tables, which made it that much easier for my husband and I to pick up and pack up everything the day after. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and there’s truly nothing I can critique. 916 Riverside will always be special to us, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat for any couples who are hunting for a venue. “We have been here many times for nice sunny days on the patio, via boat, and for a few parties. The pizza is good, and recently, we enjoyed the pulled pork loaded nachos! Service is mostly good, but the facility does give that sticky floor vibe. They have lots of TVs to enjoy many different games at once and often host themed parties. Overall, it's a nice spot!”

“My husband used to DJ weddings here. on a recent trip back to his hometown, we decided to stay. what a great decision!! The accommodations were quaint. The room was very clean with everything we needed for our weekend stay. but the food. oh my!! The food was incredible!! We enjoyed burgers that were so juicy with EisEis sauce. The second night, his fried haddock was so good. We ate our food on the patio, where we enjoyed a fire in the chimney pit. It was such a peaceful stay. Thank you! Everyone was so friendly ❤️ Karaoke was a blast too.”
