We ordered the rock shrimp tempura, the Crazy Horse roll, the Dynamite roll, and the tempura udon noodle soup. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. Best miso soup I've ever had, but shumai was bland. We polished off two special rolls -- Holy Tuna and American Dream -- and thoroughly enjoyed them. I had the pomegranate cocktail and would have loved another but I am on Weight Watchers now, lol! Service was courteous but split between the servers, and rushed due to the crowd, but everything came quickly with precise artistry and the hot foods were served good and hot...no complaints at all about the food quality, which is why this place has such a great reputation. We did all you can eat to be able try more and different types of beef, chicken, seafood and vegetables. Everything was amazing and the drinks are also very good. “This is a very nicely designed Hibachi restaurant sectioned the Hibachi grills and seating away from main restaurant and there is also a sushi bar and a liquor bar adorende with 3 large television screens for a sports bar feel. The food is fresh , very tasty and arrives pretty quickly. The one draw back that you may not like and isnt a real bad thing is the various staff members that attend to your order for drinks, then the food comes out by another person. The are visits than seem eager to grab your plate to clear the table giving you a sense that there is a rush for the table. We will be back since the food , atmosphere and prices are very good. The portions are on the smaller side but still worth it and you leave full and content.“

“My wife and I walked in for dinner without a reservation maybe two months ago at around 6:30 on a Saturday. Since the wait was a bit longer than usual we were kindly given a plate of Edamame on the house. That's when we noticed that our server was working the entire dining room by herself after another called in sick last-minute.Being short staffed is a challenge on any night but this was a packed house on Saturday night with a large number of take-out orders flowing and the team stepped up with impressive dexterity. Given the circumstances mistakes can happen but we didn't notice any.Our meals were delicious, creative and beautiful. We've since returned several times for the great food but the real triumph that night was how well everyone in the front house performed.

My notes are that the sushi is the best thing to order here and it gets VERY busy during lunch special rush hours so order ahead on their direct website (although slightly more inconvenient than the ordering apps). I tried the “tortilla” for an app which was something i’d never seen on a sushi menu before but it was delish! the spicy tuna roll had such good flavor- a classic. “My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
Favorites: Alan roll, Peter roll (as for extra sauce on the side), Cooper roll (not on the menu but was on their old menu. You can still ask for it) and the deep impact.“

“Very delicious Teriyaki. We used to go to a place in Massapequa but moved out here and was very reluctant to try something new. We couldn’t be happier. There are at least three places in the food court that have chicken teriyaki but this one has them beat hands down. The line is always long because clearly they’re the beat but no worries it moves very quickly and the food isn’t a long wait either. I get double chicken teriyaki with noodles vegetables extra sauce and hot sauce. Yum!“
