“Great company, food and service. We got the Sea Bass Ceviche which was delicious and fresh with a decent amount of heat, but could have used more sea bass in it. Guac and sampler salsas were good. Potatoes greasy but super crispy and soft inside. The short ribs were excellent. The favorite item by consensus with companions was the unique and scrumptious corn cake. All items were gluten free and separate fryer and menu made this restaurant an easy choice. Our server was Alice who guided us on selections with humor and confidence. She hustled and we appreciated her!“

“Always do take out , never disappoints ! Best Tacos in the Area
Update :
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We’ve been here before and every time, it just gets better. This visit we had the torta and tacos de lengua, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The torta was packed with flavor and perfectly toasted, and the lengua tacos were melt-in-your-mouth tender. The customer service is always so friendly and genuine.
Out of all the spots we’ve tried in Rockland, this one is literally the best. No question. The quality, the flavor, it’s unmatched. If you haven’t been here you’re seriously missing out. Do yourself a favor and try this place !“

“Finding QUALITY AUTHENTIC mexican food is hard in Rockland. But this place checks all the marks. No random peas or lettuce in dishes that dont have it. Great salsa verde (sometimes it is a bit spicy, so careful folks). Delicious chilaquiles. Great torta. Hand squeezed orance juice. This is a hidden gem. Somewhat easy to park.“

“Great tasting tacos. In Haverstraw my go-to used to be Marianitas, but as of late I've been going to Sabor de Guerrero. Great customer service, and very reasonable prices and deals. 15 tacos for $20. I also love how their tortillas aren't drenched in grease.
The restaurant is clean, and their workers are very nice. Shoutout to my man Samuel.“
“I don't come for the food so i can't review the restaurant, but i heard it's good. I'm reviewing more for the night life on the weekend. There is a dj and they play Hispanic music; reggaeton, cumbia, bachata, merengue, and salsa. Great vibes and good drinks. Dancing gets going around midnight so don't be surprised if it's a little dead early on. Wait until later and it will be lively with a fun crowd?“

“I pulled up in the parking lot and saw an employee taking out the garbage. She opened the dumpsters with her hands. She then came inside and grabbed a pair of gloves and started handling food. Please train employees on the importance of handwashing.“

“My son and I had the BEST time at Fiesta Acapulco in Stony Point. The food was fantastic as always, our server, Rafael treated us like royalty, the margaritas with sugar rims were fabulous (added plus we arrived for happy hour), and the entertainment was so much fun! Such a perfect evening with my handsome son! If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s a MUST!“

“Walking into Mariana’s restaurant was like a trip from cold New York to warm Mexico. I loved the ambience, the sound of Mexican music, colorful Mexican decor, a wonderfully accommodating waiter, Jose, coupled with delicious authentic-tasting Mexican food was a treat for my senses. The generous portion of food was bursting with flavor. The entire experience at Mariana’s Restaurant was well worth the ride from Manhattan. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mariana’s Restaurant. You will be seeing me again, the sooner, the better.“

“Just came here for the first time. Ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and Guac and Chips $35 total. The Burrito was spectacular and so were the guac and chips! The atmosphere was very authentic. I felt like I was in a Mexican colmadon (deli). I loved the vibe. I walked from home. So this will be a local favorite of mine. Thank you.“

“Amazing trays of 30 tacos and all veggies on the side! Plus we grabbed some Empanadas too! Today was the perfect day for us to try them since we were right at the mall! The owner was too sweet and brought us all kinds of things to try while we were waiting! The Biria was to die for and he brought us this Mexican Pizza absolutely mouthwatering! It is inside the gas station across from the Palisades! Seriously such good authentic Mexican food! He says you can even call and ask what his special is. He tries different things every week! Let's support a small local business! La Fondita Jarocha“

“Good food. Great ambiance. Friendly service. No complaints. Portions were nothing to complain about. Coconut shrimp a bit on the oily and fried side but delicious nonetheless, after all it is a fried dish. Mole enchiladas were delicious and plentiful. We'll be back.“

“We are frequent visitors of Tua Cosina, and it has quickly become one of our favorite local spots. I was originally introduced to this gem by a client, and it didn’t take long for us to start bringing friends and family along — all of whom have left impressed.
What truly sets Tua Cosina apart is the consistency. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, you can expect the same high standard of food and service every time. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the kitchen delivers with delicious, flavorful meals that never disappoint.
The menu offers an impressive variety — there's something for everyone. While the heart of the menu features authentic Mexican favorites, they also cater to those with simpler tastes, including kid-friendly options for picky eaters who may not be interested in traditional Mexican cuisine. This flexibility makes it an ideal choice for groups with diverse preferences.
If you're looking for a go-to restaurant where quality, service, and atmosphere come together seamlessly, Tua Cosina is it. Highly recommended!“

“The food is affordable, filling and delicious! I frequently go there after work to get an easy meal and they are always quick, super welcoming and I do think its pretty cool that you can get a bangin' mexican style burrito but with the fusion they have so many other options! I totally recommend trying this place if you haven't already! Also their app is a fantastic, the rewards are awesome and you cant beat 2 burritos, chips and salsa for $20!!! All the workers are welcoming and create a great atmosphere!“

“If you know and are a Fan of Huge burrito
This is the place for your gigantic craving
Staff was so friendly and had a great experience.
I ordered the grizzly and added a bit of salsa. It was so much food and the meat was cooked to perfection. Everything was high quality ingredients all wrapped inside a huge cozy flour tortilla.
Staff was so friendly. The burrito was the thickness of my leg hahaha
So come here with an empty stomach.
The habanero salsa is somewhat spicy even for a mexican
A great American Style of Gigantic 🌯 burrito“

“This is as traditional as traditional can get for Guatemalan food. This restaurant offers authentic food and even the way it’s laid out is just like in my country. Please do not come here expecting service or vibes like American restaurants. This is a homey authentic and relaxed environment. If you’re looking for clean delicious flavor this is it.“

“Ok. So I've never ate in. However, in the 2 times I've had their tacos they've been AMAZING. I'm trying not to exaggerate but I'm my opinion they are on point. Absolutely delicious. Got the al pastor and beef. Best tacos I've probably ever had. The atmosphere of the place is lacking and maybe it's because of the location but it's definitely a hidden taco gem in my book.“

“My family and I were in Ossining thinking about seeing my daughter. The visit didn't happen so we said let's have lunch. My daughter was always raving about the food at Tabasco's. She said the establishment will let you build an order to the customers taste. She also said that the food is very fresh and definitely authentic. Well, we decided to stay for lunch and we were not disappointed.
The restaurant seemed to be a replica of a small taverna in Mexico.. Artworks decorated the walls the surface areas. The pottery butterflies festooned throughout the restaurant were brilliant. So many colors. Just beautiful. By the way, the objects were for sale. I am sure that they do a booming business on the items alone. Sitting in the restaurant with the beautiful Mexican artwork definitely added to the ambiance. The only thing missing was Mexican music playing in the background that would have added even more to the ambiance.
Now to get to the food because that is what is why we came. The food was exceptional. My sister ordered cheese quesadillas that were nestled in between the pico de gallo and guacamole. She also ordered chips with salsa. The chips were hand fried and the salsa tasted homemade. I ordered a bowl that came with shredded chipotle chicken, white rice, guacamole, pico de gallo, onions, and black beans. The portion was amazing. I had to take most of it home because I could not finish it. The same for my sister's quesadillas. The food was exquisite. Not too, spicy nor bland. It was just right.
I should mention that the owner was a lovely woman who was assisted by her more than capable son, Junior. Such nice and friendly people. They were ready to offer assistance when we requested additional sauce, etc. We were told that in the near future they planned on renovating. I just hope that the renovation does not take away from the feeling of being in a small taverna in a small Mexican town.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and fresh Mexican food. Oh, I failed to mention that we came from the Bronx and Manhattan to eat here. It was a well worth trip. My daughter sure knows how to pick scrumptious places and she hit a home run with Tabasco. We will definitely visit this restaurant again and again! You should all try it for yourselves. You will not be disappointed!“

“Dined in with 4 adults and 2 8 yr old boys and it was great. Good service and delicious food. The drinks were also great-traditional margaritas & something with Hennessy. Ambiance even on a Monday was very cool. Well done Yuka’s! Your parking lot is always crowded so I knew you were good.“

“Top notch Mexican food at a great price. Aquas frescas are amazing, authentic, and at least 20 fl. oz. Prices are perfect. Small dining room, but they do not cramp the tables together. Spanish-language talk shows or telenovelas on a 50" screen blare their Central- and South-American equivalents of nonsense TV. It all makes for a perfect combination of a good lunch somewhere. The food is top notch, with the chips/salsa plentiful. Want guac? It's homemade and, if I recall, $8 for a ton of it. Their plates will overwhelm you, again, for a reasonable price. Plus, seasonings are spot on.You have to go there. Tip well. I know I will again after a luncheon there once upon a random time.“
