“Just took our 97 yo mom for her birthday. Neglected to get our servers name, had cute southern accent. She was so super sweet to mom, and great to all of us. Her anticipation was spot on. Made mom feel special with a surprise birthday cake slice, all dolled up. Thank you Fireside.“

“I placed a huge mobile order. The wait wasn't terrible considering how much food I ordered. When I got home all of our food was correct. The modifications were correct. But we were missing the empanadas. Which considering how much food there was i was impressed. I called the store and spoke to Karen. She was lovely and said if I stopped back she would take care of it. She felt so bad but honestly I was impressed that was the only mistake. I popped back by and Karen was great. I appreciate everyone at the store for being nice despite the order being so large lol.“

“Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

Al Pastor tacos are the best of them all. Parking is not the best but there are spots on the surrounding streets. Will be back again and again.“

“Awesome family owned ice cream shop, in a beautiful walkable neighborhood. Friendly staff, good prices and large portions. Always busy, but service moves quickly. For events they also have a great ice cream truck that can come out offer ice cream on the go.“

“Not only were the employees very kind, the food itself was wonderful for my first visit. We also got one of the chocolate chip vegan cookies and it is EASILY the best cookie I’ve ever had. I didn’t expect to like it so much (I’m not even vegan! It just looks yummy 🤭). Lovely little place with adorable animal photos throughout also. Employee was kind when I asked for an explanation for them. Loved finding out it’s a community board of loved pets alive and those also lost. They stated the community could bring in a photo of their pet to place on the wall. Great to see that small moment of recognizing the community and being involved to create that memorial & funny moments for the animals! Thanks for a great experience. For sure will be back.“

Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! “We go to this restaurant about once a month or so. This last week I took a friend there on Friday. The place was packed out since it was their fish fry night. It was loud and very busy, (busier than any time I had ever gone before), yet the service was great and so was the food. I love a good Reuben, and their kitchen staff know just the right combination of ingredients to make it perfectly. There is always enough food and the wait staff is friendly and efficient.“

“I’m embarrassed to say this was my husband and mines first time here being that the restaurant has been around for 20 years! Nevertheless, we couldn’t be happier to have stumbled upon such a low key, humble and delicious restaurant. The parking is a bit difficult as the lot is free but very tight. We had dinner here and from the chai tea to the plates we had (stew, salad, plantain fritters, gnocchi and greens), everything was flavourful, perfectly spiced and delicious. The pricing isn’t bad at all either. They prefer cash payment, but they fo take card. Highly recommend for anyone following a vegan/plant-based/vegetarian diet, since the menu is entirely friendly to these diets. We will definitely be back!“

“I have been to La Bola a few times for lunch and love their sandwiches on foccacia. Recently I went to a holiday party there and it was out of this world! What a cool place to have an event! They put out several different spreads to graze on, one was an eggplant and fig foccacia- fantastic. I also really enjoyed the craft cocktail options they had for the event which were winter themed. I will most definitely be back for lunch (or dinner) and I hope to get to go for an event there again.“

“First time there - the food is AMAZING! Some of the best food I’ve ever had. So reminiscent of El Ricon, but yet different. Huge and intriguing menu. The quesadillas are so delicious as are the sopes, & chile rellenos..the flan is creamy & caramel and the chocolate dulce de leche is sinful. If you haven’t been - GO… does not disappoint! “I’ve always had wonderful experiences at this crumbl location, on both sides of the counter! As a die-hard crumbl fan, I like this location the best in Rochester. This week I tried the Dubai chocolate cookie with crispy pistachio, it was simply fantastic. The cookies are always beautiful, and I’ve always had kind and prompt service from staff. Such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!“

“Every time I go to Clownboy, I wish it was closer to where I work or live, but that's more of a me problem. My most recent visit sealed the deal on why I need to just make the trip periodically.

This is a fully vegan coffee shop. I am not vegan but I am lactose intolerant so it's a treat to order from a menu with reckless abandon and not having to worry whether my coffee would be better with traditional milk. I think Clownboy is on par with many of the local coffee shops in the area quality-wise. I believe they make many (if not all) of their syrups in house, which is greatly enjoyed and appreciated. My personal favorite is the Dale Cooper, a cold brew with fig and walnut bitters. It's not sweet and has a subtle almost smoky finish. It's sophisticated and reminds me of a cocktail in a way. I have dabbled with a few other drinks on the menu and enjoyed them as well, but the Dale Cooper is my jam.

The vibe in the cafe is great. It's fun, welcoming and colorful. Local artists have work displayed for sale. I am more of a grab and go coffee drinker by default, but I could totally see myself chilling here for a while if the mood struck.

There are a few very small things I wish were different (limited seating, street parking), but on a nice day, I don't mind a little walk and a coffee to go.“

“Another great visit to Gusto. I remember to take a picture of the menu. They have a delicious meatball panini that goes great with a glass of wine. They sell wine by the bottle here too. Tasty food, good drink selection and the staff is always friendly.
Today they opened 25 minutes early and fired up the grill. That was so nice of them. They offer their full menu all day. I got the meat ball panini again. Like I said, I love that thing with some red wine, even if it's 9am.“

We tried shrimp tom yum soup, papaya salad, fresh and fried spring rolls, brisket pho, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was fantastic. This may be the best pho that we’ve tried in Rochester! Service was great as well.“

“I LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is amazing and it’s a great environment to sit and chill. I switch up what I order but last time I got the Sea World roll and I think it was my favorite one I’ve had so far. The quality is amazing. I would have to say one of the best parts about E.suki is Cham. She works the front and she is absolutely amazing and the sweetest person you will ever meet. If you have been here you have met her and you know what I mean. She deserves a raise!“

“Ok so the staff was great and the interior was clean and orderly. The issue is have is solely with the overwhelming flavor of banana in every single smoothie. All 3 of the ones we ordered had the same intensity of banana. None of the smoothies names would indicate a banana forward flavor other than the SB. Disappointing at the price point“
