Recently had a wonderful experience at Applebees in Herkimer. We were sat quickly and our table was very clean. Our server Stephanie was wonderful, greeted us within seconds of sitting down to take our drink orders and gave us some time to look at the menus. Food and service were excellent! Will be back!
The service was a 5, the food, however, the food was a different story. The young man taking my order was very patient with me as I had some dietary preferences that made ordering a little tricky. He worked with a fellow employee to get it right. We ordered takeout and I waited for the food to make sure we got it hot and ready. I am a regular for this location and usually I am pretty satisfied with it. The food is typically decent for this level of establishment but this time the pasta was very over cooked to the point it was almost mush. These things happen and that is not what I was really disappointed in. The server was the main issue.
