“It wasn’t horrible, but the other reviews had me expecting more. It was just average tasting. Service was very good. They were juggling a few customers at a time and were still attentive to everyone. Very kind people. Cash only. Clean place. Very quick service as well. The potato salad was phenomenal. I got the tuna upon recommendation but I would not buy it again. Prices were cheap for this area but expensive in general.“

So pretty I didn't want to open it. Not only can you satisfy your sweet tooth, they also have food to please your tummy! In case you have a Nut allergy, let them know, they will accommodate you. “I saw this bakery snuggled away while driving past it & knew I had to return. The inside is nice & clean. It's Filipino style desserts which is lovely. They have a large selection of dessert items to choose from.

On the weekend's they sellout fast so get here early. I had their Banana bread loaf which was my favorite of everything. It was so soft and warm, wish I'd gotten more of it.
The burnt basque cheesecake was nice & decadent. The BonBons were absolute perfection. They have a seasonal and rotating menu which always has something delicious to offer.

They have these adorable boxes to pack the food in with a colorful pink theme. The staff is kind & helpful. They have a small lot to park your car in which is appreciated. I've honestly never been to a dessert shop such as Fern & Aurora, it's a nice change from the regular ole baked goods. I highly recommend everybody to come check them out.“

“It's been a hot hot hot minute since I came here after I moved to Long Island Suburbs. My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.“

“I liked it! I got some as a gift so I didn’t visit the actual store. All time favorite thing here was the strawberry pastry (if the business replies; please just say the name of that one) SO good. I would come back for that. Fantastic. Fluffy and light and airy with a perfectly sweetened cream fluff inside. Wow.
Corn cheese bread was sooo fun. If it’s served warm; I bet you it’s fantastic but I did eat it a couple of hours after it was ordered.
The fig bread had an amazing texture to it. Light and fluffy like Portuguese bread (I did personally wish the figs were cut smaller to enjoy more evenly but that’s personal preference)
The variety of stuff was really fun! Some things I did not like at all but my friends did so that was just personal preference.“

“Seriously the BEST bagels EVER!! We're from California and I grew up eating bagels and deli... there are no bagels that even compare to Utopia bagels.
Service was excellent, took a little while as it was SO busy but it was absolutely worth the wait!! Obviously amazing when locals are lined up out the door to get bagels.
We were waiting for our order and the nicest man with a New York accent asked our boys if they've ever had a fresh bagel out of the oven, we of course said No, and he gave them a fresh, hot bagel that was to die for!!
My only negative is that we don't have a Utopia bagels in California hahah! Let me know when you want to open one near me!🤩“

Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! “Cat is an absolute artist when it comes to anything dessert related. Recently she baked me my wedding cake and it was completely personalized and unique to all the requests that myself and my wife requested. She even personally delivered it to the wedding venue and coordinated with venue staff on the day of my wedding. I highly recommend stopping in for a variety of brownies/cookies/etc or for bigger event like a wedding cake!“

“I stumbled across this bakery after having a birthday dinner at Mas Tortilla a few blocks away. It was a great find.

I ordered a cappuccino, 2 Grand Opening cupcakes, and a box of macarons for my bf and I to share and it was all sooo good.

The cupcakes had a passionfruit icing/paste that I could tell was made with real passionfruit on the inside and the cake was the perfect texture and moisture level. As good as the cupcakes were though, the real star of the show was the macarons. They were out of this world. We tried one of every flavor and I was not let down. My favorites were the fruity pebbles and the earl grey.

“Legendary Brooklyn baker Don Paco López has finally opened a Long Island outpost. This is the same bakery that was immortalized at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and has a cult following for its conchas, tamales and milanesa and pierna tortas. The Westbury location is also tended by members of Don Paco López’ family so quality is guaranteed. The bread is fresh, made daily (by hand). I had an order or Bavarian cream-filled churros for a school event and they were a smashing hit. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Kid-friendliness: There are hand crafted piñatas on site, Mexican candy and sweet baked goods and pastries perfect for kids .“

They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“

Their buñuelos are huge which is a plus! The portions of their dishes are perfect. I was extremely happy with my order.
