“One of the best bars in Nassau. Great friendly staff, they make you feel like one of the crew quickly. Great drinks with a wide selection of Beam. As far as the food goes, there is not better place to get wings in the county. Wide range of heat and flavors, always made to perfection. Then of course there is the pizza that will beat most pizzerias round. They almost have a restaurant menu in a bar. There is not better place to watch any sports from horse racing to football and everything in between. The place has a lot of modern TVs so getting the game you want is pretty easy (just ask). The owner, Shawn, is friendly, respectful, and knows his stuff. When he took over The Irish Pub, he made it a point to get involved as an active part of the community and create an inclusive atmosphere. This bar and its patrons, especially on karaoke nights (every other Friday) with NV Entertainment, are a lively bunch so you'll be sure to have a good time. It does get crowded at times, especially during karaoke, but that's how you know it's a great place to be!

They have a new menu and I hadn't tried the burgers yet, so I figured I'd give the Bruin Burger a shot. I was having so much fun that I had to save the burger and fries for the next day, so it was wrapped up to go. Even next day, it DID NOT disappoint! Pop it in the air fryer and you're golden. No excuse not to get a good meal from here, even if you don't drink.

Last but not least, Big Los behind the bar is always helpful. Seeing I ordered a few drinks (and I have small hands), he picked them up with ease and brought them all to the table for me. I notice things like that because how many times have you been to a busy bar and the bartender just pours your drinks, takes your money, and you have to figure out how to get them over to your table without spilling? Los took the guesswork out of it. Thank you, Los!
