Black Forest Mill

Three of us went there. Very disappointed. I had the beef goulash, the meat was hard. All of our mash potatoes were chunky and hard. My daughter's meatloaf was so dry and hard. The apple strudel was okay. My daughter's chocolate cake had no flavor and was stale. The only good thing was the beer .Really went down hill from our last visit.

I don't know what's happened to this restaurant in the past three years we've been coming here but it has been a downward slope with every visit. I'm afraid this one will be my last. The service was lax despite only having two other tables with 2 people each. Our drinks were never refilled till we asked for more water with dessert. Nice German restaurant. Staff was helpful with suggestions and really accommodating. A customer that was leaving as we were entering told me that the food was amazing and to make sure we tried the cauliflower appetizer. Everything we ate was authentic, flavorful and you can tell the chef takes a lot of pride in their work. That pork was perfect!! We met the owner as she toasted some marshmallows at the fireplace.
