“Took my friend here for her bday. Service could not have been more outstanding. Atmosphere is lovely. She compared the bar area to a “European” bar. Beautiful. We sat by the fireplace bc our reservation was early enough. A more private section of the restaurant. Our server was wonderful and attentive. Seating was comfortable. Food was excellent. We ordered off the brunch menu. Can't wait to go back. Might have my husband's bday in a room here.“

“Last night we (2 couples) went to Ruth Chris Steak House in Lake Grove, NY for dinner and had the best dinning experience we have had in awhile. It is now our favorite steak restaurant. The food is outstanding, compliments to the chief!! Also, I would like to comment on our waitress, Kim, who is terrific!!! She was so attentive to all our requests, took care of us all night. Also, the manager is a real gentleman, and he also made us feel comfortable and special. Without a doubt, this is the best steak restaurant on the Island, we have been to most of the upscale restaurants here and we rate this the best. If you want terrific food, great service, and a delightful ambiance, try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!!!“

“Had a great steak today at Texas Roadhouse Selden. My friend had an issue with her steak (it was cooked just the way she ordered it) but we had a great waitress Brielle and she could not be nicer. She even sent over another steak. Good food great service!“

“I have not been j & r Steakhouse in a probably about 10 years food has not changed. Everything was so delicious. I got the Porter house so tender and juicy. My mom got the salmon which was delicious. And I also got cheesecake for dessert which was so creamy. The food was amazing“

“I took my coworkers here for the first time. Food was good as usual service is excellent. Asked for few cuts and they come out right away. The only thing I'd say was everytime I come here the filet mignon is always soo over cooked and dry compared to everything else which is strange. It's always really well and not great. We cut into it last night and it was totally gray and dry. And the other meat cuts were a good medium rare. Just odd how that one is always coming out gray and not worth eating“
