“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?”

“I had the most fantastic dinner & cocktails at Swallow Kitchen Greenlawn this past Saturday w/ friends from out of town! First off, The Server was kind and took great care of us! The food was terrific, and the Cocktails were to die for! 🤩🥳😍 Mushroom toast with/ Marscarpone was AMAZING, Steak AMAZING, Mussels-The broth was So good! Tuna Tartare- the Lemon Aioli I'm still dreaming about, Grilled Octopus- grilled to perfection, Street corn- tarragon flavor really came out. My Husband Loved the Chicken Tostadas. We had no room left - but I want to return for the Nom Nom Noodles and everything else!!”

“A big Shout out to GUSTOSO’s Pizzeria for hosting my sister’s 29th birthday celebration. I absolutely adored the family vibe that you feel as soon as you walk in. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Huntington now :blush:. Owners allowed us to bring our own décor. The food was fantastic and no matter what we ordered we were delighted with our meal! But if you ask me the Chicken Alla Vodka was DELICIOUS! Special thanks to Jasmine our server, she was such a pleasure to be around, very efficient, happy, and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a small friendly place that will make it a memorable experience to the ones you love.”

The place had just opened this Sept and I was very impressed by the atmosphere and coziness that was felt upon walking in. The seating is so creative, comfortable and gives customers some privacy while they eat as well. The servers were all very friendly and the service was excellent. The food was great like i said beside the noodles being a bit undercooked, it was very savory and definitely hit the spot 👍🏼 this place is definitely going to be a hit in Huntington, NY!”

I was going through my purchases when he said in a surly, tough guy manner: You're not going to return that, are you. I thought he was joking. I responded: No just checking to see if the order was correct. He then says: My kids are smart, It's the customers who are idiots. As he was backing his car out I must have had my WTF face on as I was shaking my head. He lowered his window and started in with an insane rant. Told him he was rude and insulting and I didn't want to hear it. He continued even as I got in my car. This guy was crazy enough that he could have gotten violent. The sad part is, for years I have been patronizing Fiorello Dolce even though it is a 20 minute drive from home. I have also recommended them to several people as the best bakery around. You can be sure of two things: I will never go back there again and I will share this story with as many people as possible.”

Any food dish is great if you find yourself in the mood for something other than pizza. Notable heros are the meatball and potato and egg. Their sushi is always fresh and the amount of fish in the nigiri and rolls are amazing!!!!As a sushi lover and a personal chef, I highly recommend this secret gem.They are located on the west side of Broadway/Greenlawn Rd., on the same side of the street as 7-11, within a small group of stores.Not to be confused with the other Japanese across the street. That's a completely different story.PS. They have a sushi roll special that's really amazing as a quick takeout.”

The cake was damaged the previous evening coming from queens - where they make the custom cakes - and I thought we were doomed. Keep in mind Baskin Robbins is the only place that makes ice cream cake with the battered baked cake in the cake. (No one knows what this is here in NY but it's a very popular cake down south)”

I tried multiple delis in the area and was so disappointed in every experience I had. My new lady friend suggested this small deli up the road called bay deli. I was reluctant to give another deli a try in this area but let me tell you. I was so surprised at the price of my egg sandwich amongst everything going up these prices were fairly priced and the service was fast and friendly and it was the best egg sandwich I’ve probably ever had. Deff come here if you want a delicious egg sandwich without having to refinance your house!”

Next comes the ridiculous part--when I was booking a reservation, I checked out menus thoroughly. On their website, I viewed their menu. Never saw a brunch menu. Our reservation was at 3. We got there 10 minutes early and were seated. Brunch menu still on the table. We ordered drinks and when the waitress came back, I asked when dinner started (now I know 3pm is early for dinner, but we were hoping for apps). She said brunch is served until 5pm. We were at a loss. We ordered the breakfast pizzette to just try something. It came out at least 20 minutes later and it was cold. Eggs were cold. Pizza crust was cold. Barely any prosciutto and what was there was burned. No fondue on our pizza as described, and the arugula smelled awful--it was starting to turn. We couldn't get our check fast enough. Will not be going back. Definitely focus on food before trying to build a social media following with swanky decor.”
