“Food was amazing; service even better! Joe greeted me when I walked in, talked to me about some of his favorites and gave me some samples. Ended up ordering the trifecta and couldn’t have been happier. The amount of food I got, the taste, and the service were all great! Can’t wait to go back.“
“Finally a good Korean bbq and hot pot spot on Long Island! Love that you can choose yourself all you can eat fresh ingredients which are constantly being added every few minutes. They are so clean and have hot foods and sushi as well. The desserts are delicious. I did both the Korean Bbq and Hot pot which were delicious. Loved that you can mix and match your own sauces and make everything yourself.Customer service is wonderful as well! Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.“
“Lia has been my server 3 times before and she never disappoints, she's always there when we need her and her attitude is just fantastic. The food also never disappoints, I order multiple orders the spicy chicken every time and it's always better than the last. I bring all my friends and family here because of how fantastic this place is.Kid-friendliness: My kid sister loves it every time, they so so kind to her.“
“Grilled shrimp to perfection sauce delicate a touch of Smokey delicious flavour without heavy sugarsCalamari fried to perfection not greasy in fresh clean oil tender with a nice crispy finish - recommend you ask for the white sauce packed with flavour but delicious and delicate to the palletParking: Large parking lot“
“BEST PIZZA IN LONG ISLAND!! At first I never thought the pizza would be that great considering their is a pizzeria in every corner but this place is insane! The deep dish tomato and Basil is out of this planet. The crust is crispy and moist. The drizzle of oil and garlic are the ultimate. Their Sicilian pizza is also its rival. Don't be fooled by the fact it's not fancy. You will love it!“
“I plan trips around Bbq joints, and I can unequivocally say that Old Fields is the very best I’ve ever had on Long Island!! Perfectly smoked pork ribs I could only get in Texas, TN, or parts of GA/SC. The coleslaw was delicious, too!! I may go back today for the brisket! OUTRAGEOUSLY perfect!!!“
“This was our first time here. When we entered the place was lively, A friend, my wife and I ate here on Thursday Night, 2/1 during Restaurant Week. The price was $46 per person which included one appetizer, one main course and one dessert. We ordered seafood baked clams and sweet chili fried calamari from the Restaurant Week menu. Our friend ordered the French onion soup from the regular menu. I received 2 large seafood baked clams which had plenty of stuffed seafood. It was delicious and had plenty of seafood and not overly made with breadcrumb. There was plenty of fried calamari to share among the three of us. Sweet chili sauce was slightly sweet but still very tasty. The French onion soup was cheesy an flavorful. We ordered for our main course the Land and Sea combo which is Romanian steak, 2 stuffed shrimp with seafood, garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, and the Broiled salmon with steamed broccoli and seasoned rice. Our dishes were well presented and served hot.(Sorry. Forgot to take pictures.) We really enjoyed our food. Very tasty and delicious. For dessert, we ordered the creamy cheesecake, oreo crunch ice cream cake and reese's peanut butter pie. Each portion was bigger than expected. The creamy cheesecake lived up to its name. If you like oreo cookies and crunchies then this is the dessert for you. Our friend loved the peanut butter pie. Creamy, plentiful and delicious.Overall, price was reasonable and food was well prepared and delicious. I highly recommend The Main Event in Plainview.Parking: Parking lot surrounds the restaurant. You can enter from the east and west of Old Country Road. There are plenty of spots from which you can choose.“
“I recently had the pleasure of revisiting this establishment and noticed a marked improvement in both the service and the food since my last visit. I was particularly impressed by the attentiveness of our server. She was prompt in greeting us upon being seated and ensured that we were comfortable and well-taken care of throughout our meal, without being overbearing. My compliments to the entire staff for their excellent service!Parking: Multiple buildings share the parking lot. Not everyone who parks there is a customer of the restaurant.“
“I ate there yesterday for the first time and I cannot wait to go back and bring all my friends. Absolutely great experience from food to staff to atmosphere. There are not enough words to describe the overall delicious and warm experience it was!!!“
“I came to Spare Rib on Sunday, February 18, 2024. I have not been here for a while. I was met by our waiter/server Brady. He was phenomenal. Brady is a soft well spoken, polite young man who is very considerate. I asked him his opinion on Martini’s and Menu suggestions. Brady knew the menu very well and made the suggestions to satisfy me. I had the Full rack of ribs and the chocolate raspberry martini. Both were excellent. The food at the Spare Rib is always consistently good . Brady was such a gentleman that he raised the heat when I said it was chilly in here and held the doors for my mother exiting the Spare Rib. Brady should be compensated well for a superior job as a waiter/ server.“
“My family and I came here for lunch -- I liked the vibes in here -- you sit at picnic tables and everything gets served in paper baskets, so it's definitely casual bar-esque vibes. The food came out pretty fast, and I would say our favorites were definitely the boneless wings and rice bowl - wings are wings and the rice bowl was full of toppings and a decent sized portion. The cornbread was a bit of a disappointment because we expected it to be more fresh, but it came out cold and dry. The loaded nachos were decent but pretty average.“
“Tonight I came in with my boyfriend after an especially trying day and our waitress Avery was kind and attentively took to our table with ease. During our meal another patron at the table behind us became distressed and it was clear he was choking. Before we could react a member of the staff named Juan RAN to his aid, immediately performing the heimlich maneuver which cleared the man's throat and brought him back to life. Juan should be commended for his bravery and quick thinking. Without Juan this man may not have made it home to his friends or family tonight.Good people still exist in the world, this is proof. Thank you Juan, Im sure he thanks you too ?“
“Recently decided to try a new place for lunch. They are always right on point about your order even if you make changes/substitution. The portion sizing is perfect, the food is fresh, it looks and tastes amazing. Cant say enough about how awesome this deli “
“We had China G as our waitress and she was literally amazing. As soon as we sat down she greeted us with great energy, and when we told her we were trying to make a movie after, she let us know she would take good care of us. Everything was served swiftly and correctly. She deserves all the praise. We’ll be back for sure!“
“The place is decorated nicely. The staff is very friendly. Now the food… it was… great. I ordered the aji de gallina which is my favorite peruvian dish and it was amazing. My gf ordered the lomo with tallarin a la huancaina. their meat could use some work. The anticuchos and the lomo were a bit down in flavor but that doesnt diminish the other stuff in the dish. It helped bring it up a few points for me. If they can elevate their meat it would be 5 stars. The drinks in the picture are a malibu fire and chimpun tropical. They were strong and we definitely felt them. All in all this place is a must fry if youre in the neighborhood. Just a disclaimer i do have an elite peruvian palet so i am criticizing harshly than normal.Parking: Parking is in back.“
