T.O.A. Asian Fusion in Huntington Village is an excellent sushi and Thai restaurant. The food is high-quality, fresh, and consistent. The sushi is polished enough to feel like a real meal, with fresh salmon, tuna, yellowtail, white fish, and fatty tuna pieces. The nigiri has that smooth bite, and simple rolls like spicy tuna and salmon avocado are dependable. Specialty rolls like the TOA Roll and the American Dream are fun and flavorful. The Crispy Toro is a memorable bite, and even the General Tso’s chicken holds up. The drinks are excellent, and the happy hour offers great value. The interior is nice, and the whole front glass wall opens onto Main Street, making it feel lively but not too loud. Service is fast, friendly, and reliable, with a bartender who remembers orders and forms genuine connections. The staff is attentive from start to finish. The music is tinny sounding pop music that kills the experience, and a better sound system with moody house music would improve the vibes. Overall, TOA is fresh, consistent, and much better than a basic sushi spot. It is easy 5/5 and the best Japanese restaurant on Long Island.
