“First time here, got to try the carne asada tacos and carnitas chalupas, they were great! Juicy and tender. Our only issue was when we arrived there wasn’t any music playing for a while and out of nowhere loud music started playing which threw us off as we were sitting by a speaker. Will probably do take out moving forward because these tacos are definitely seeing me again.“

“Second time ordering take-out from here. They’re really friendly and have great service, but it’s not going to become my next favorite unfortunately. Food was okay, ordered cheese birria tacos which I thought would be cheese crusted rather than just some shredded cheese tossed inside.
The birria consome was great though! I think it was missing some salt but when combined with the tacos (as it should be) it was a perfect combination.

The place is small though, not a lot of seating space and the space that is available is a bit tight, so that ruins a bit of the atmosphere for me. But, for takeout nearby, I think it’s in the right neighborhood and deserves its round of applause.“

From the fresh squeezed lime on the margaritas, whether frozen or on the rocks to the authentic Mexican food you definitely feel the great vibes. I would definitely recommend for a good bite and smooth drink to finish off the palette. “I visited with my wife and the service was quick and great, Anastasia patiently answered all of our questions! We got food off of their Vegan Menu which featured staples like Cauliflower and Tofu. “One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.

However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“

“I often order chicken steak and shrimp nachos to get all proteins and it's pretty delicious to me. But they can get soggy fast if you don't eat it fast enough. Their tacos are surprisingly low key good especially birria beef tacos and crispy chicken tacos. I would say the overall price is medium or a bit higher but worth it.

Also been a regular at this restaurant for years and pretty hyped that they came up with new things including sushi tacos like (shrimp tempura sushi taco, coco-pastor chicken sushi taco)

“Got a chorizo burrito and it was pretty good. The flavor was pretty good. It wasn’t too salty. The burrito was grilled on top of cheese and then wrapped with the fillings. The plating was great even for takeout. The green sauce was spicy and delicious.

The restaurant was clean. The music was a bit loud. The server was very friendly.“
