“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. “It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. I came here with a mission. 😎 I’m a huge fan of tripa so of course i tried the TRIPA taco and i chose ASADA too with steak. I really loved both, the textures, the flavours, everything was great. “Found this place online. We ordered chilaquiles con salsa verde , French toast & iced cafe de olla. The place gives a Mexican home style atmosphere. It’s a small space & got busy after 11:30am on a Saturday. We got seated quickly. The chilaquiles were shareable and had a mild spicy. The French Toast was MASSIVE and shareable. The crust was slightly too toasted making it a bit difficult to cut through. The arrangement of fruit was nice tho. They added mango which was a nice touch. The cafe con olla does well iced and definitely has the olla taste. Highly recommend the chilaquiles con steak y salsa verde. The staff were very friendly.“

As there was only one vegetarian option, it was still tasty and amazing to try because of how fresh the ingredients were, the high quality temperature, and the presentation. We got the mushroom tacos and a quesadilla with added pico de gallo, fresh herbs. The quality of the tortilla was fresh, the people were friendly, and the ordering process was smooth through through the kiosk. Since we went in the winter it was freezing but they were nice enough to add a heating fan. The best part about this place and selling point as we all know is the atmosphere. Since the taco spot is a quick eat N go, the keg stands as mini standing tables was very clever and aesthetic. Will come back if I ever am in the area and drunk 🤪“

“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.

Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.

Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.“

“The best Birria I've ever had. Nothing else even comes close. My partner is a vegetarian and says they also have the best mushroom tacos (loaded with beans and cheese, not too greasy).

Don't skip the salsa bar. Their orange sauce is incredible.

The service at Nene's is also top notch. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Food comes out fast even when their busy.“

Got the birria burrito, thing was huge, came with consume and was amazing. Felt like it was made with love. Chips and a coke and I don't need to eat got the rest of the day.
