“I absolutely adore this place . I stopped going to Julie’s years ago ( feel free to check my review under their page to get all the details ) and needed a new spot to get my horchata and pupusas. The horchata was creamy and delicious , and the pupusas were cooked perfectly. During lunch time the place is packed and thriving - which is a tell-tale sign of great food!! When you walk in , you get that neighborhood feel and the staff are helpful and very pleasant. Love this place! Check it out !“

“Best chicken cutlet in the area. Left a note for an order specification that they were not seeing (that I was not aware about). I left a lower than usual review because it was happening more than once as I am a regular customer. Immediately they were on it. The next time I placed an order I received a phone call from the owner herself to make sure they knew what went wrong and how they could fix it. This business truly values their customers and really go the extra mile. Great food and great people make for a great experience! Highly recommend to all in the bayside area!“

“CASH ONLY.We ordered the rice and bean with chorizo (comes mixed with eggs) and salad plate, along with a pupusa. Server also asked if we wanted cheese and cream. The food was amazing. Really enjoyed the salad (cabbage) that helped balance the oiliness and saltiness of the flavors. We came with only $20 in our pockets. Total came out to be $16.10.Would recommend if youre in the area.“

“Honestly, the food is not the best. However, the tiny staff is very friendly and attentive, as us Richie himself. He has a nice display of music memorabilias. It is a very comfortable neighborhood cafe. It is also very convenient, be next to the 169th F train subway station.“
“Ordered for take out to bring to Beach club. The owner Luis grilled us pork chops, chicken, steak and shrimp.Beyond delicious and tender. The rice and refried black beans were so tasty and the papusas were out of this world! I am hooked!!!!! Best Spanish food!!!!“

“They have typical Salvadorian selections there and the food is fresh and very delicious. I bought three pupusas, casamiento, tamal de lote, and a chicken leg. And I'm going back soon and highly recommend it.Parking: You have to look for parking in the street but you shouldn't have a problem. I went on a Sunday and found parking right in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is street level so you should have no trouble getting in with a wheelchair.“

“This place is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very affectionate and the cuisine they serve is so delicious. I am always happy to have a decent meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.“
