“Absolutely amazing bakery! I'd been meaning to stop by myself after receiving some of the small cheesecakes as a gift and they did not disappoint! The staff is extremely friendly, and it seems like everyone knows each other there which is so sweet.

Their cheesecakes are to die for, they're not overly sweet. The carrot cakes as well stayed moist and delicious. Absolutely will be going here for birthday needs 💜“

“This was our first time trying The Gate House and we were impressed! We came on a Thursday afternoon with no reservation and were seated right away. Our server was prompt and attentive immediately and continued through the duration of our meal. We tried the Xerox pizza as well as the Duffy burger and both were 10/10! Absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend!“

“My family took me off my birthday. And was some place cool and different to go to.
All the food was pretty good. But my burger, which I asked for medium was well done.
there was a piece of bacon on it, which leads me to believe, because I asked for no bacon, that they put it in and then took it off.
It was not busy at all and this particular Sunday evening, and it took an extremely long time to get our food.
The call ahead for a reservation and they will be able to see us all in a round table for a party of 8, which was nice.

“We had a friend introduce us to this bakery a month ago as we we're searching for a good gluten free bakery to get some deserts for our daughter's graduation party. I stopped in a few days prior to the party and picked up a variety of items, their assorted mini cookie tray, a few of their frosted cookies and a variety box of cupcakes. All of our gluten free guests LOVED the options and devoured the sweets pretty quickly. My daughter's favorite is the Carrot Cake cupcake. We will definitely be making more visits, especially before our daughter leaves for college.“

This was the first time that I’ve been out to eat in a while, when I didn’t have to worry so much about compromising flavor, in place of excessive dairy and meats. I love the pizza options. All are amazing. Outdoor seating in the summer is a must! Fast service and the staff is so friendly!“

“Best cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life it is so so soooooooo good it is almost orgasmic, just thinking about it I am drooling 🤤 a mist try if you are a cheesecake fan ! Also tried the banana bread it is really yummy and those ginger turmeric bar are also really yummy. The bread is different a little like a pumpernickel I really liked it ! “Great Thai food! Visiting Penfield and went by this place and it looked good. It looks like it's in a converted bank, but it works. \nMy wife and I love Hot & Sour Soup so we had to order the Tom Yum Chicken (Hot & sour flavor with lemon grass & galanga) and Tom Kha Chicken (Coconut, lemon grass & galanga). Both were excellent, the Tom Kha is a little sweet from the coconut and I loved it.\nMy wife ordered the Mango Chicken which she thought was very good. I saw the Drunken Noodles with choice of Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp. I had enjoyed Drinken Chicken years ago and haven't found it again so that was my choice. GOOD CHOICE!\nI enjoyed it very much. It had very wide rice noodles, and lots of chicken and vegetables. Much as the name implies, there is no alcohol in it. It was a very large portion, so I enjoyed what I didn't eat then, for lunch the next day.\nGood food, good service, nice atmosphere. You'll get a good meal here.“

When we scheduled our tasting pick up, Lisa stopped what she was working on to introduce herself. Her attention to detail was unmatched. “We recently had a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my daughter. There were 14 guests. We had brunch on a Sunday. Everything was wonderful. The General Manager, Webster was great to work with. He was very professional as well as personable. The staff was amazing. Very polite & we had exceptional service. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they had. “Mama Napoli Foods is a family owned specialty producer of Authentic Arancini (stuffed rice balls). Mama Napoli Foods is the only place that offers gluten free arancini. They are primarily a wholesale operation but do have a small store front where you can purchase their products. They also offer catering for your events.“

“My picky vegetarian 9-year old loved Susan's battered tofu, Asian noodles and rice. Chef Susan catered a menu designed to her tastes- while offering variety to the rest of the family. My daughter even asked for seconds! There was plenty of food for all of us and the cost was extremely reasonable. We had a nice, healthy family dinner tonight.“

“My husband and I don’t make it into the city too often, but when we do, Roam on Park Ave is always a go-to. The food and drinks are always great, and I’m obsessed with their espresso martinis! We came in a few weeks ago and had Kylee as our server — she was fantastic and made the whole night even better. Thanks for another awesome visit!“

“The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“The sweets here are usually very good. They have a good variety to choose from. Their brewed coffee is never that great. They do have the biggest selection of flavor shots however so that sometimes covers the taste. The drinks besides normal coffee are typically good as well“

This is a good choice as our granddaughters like vegetarian food and gluten-free options. This is a unique local restaurant you feel like you’re going down a rabbit hole with Alice. Limited parking which is why we walked from the George Eastman Museum which we just visited. I highly recommend the Mad Hatter if you’re in the city.“
