“Fantastic, good quality gf options! Lovely store front with both amazing gluten free options (scones, cookies, bread, sandwich’s, and other goodies!) and a cafe with coffees, teas, matcha). I always look forward to visiting.”

“Went for lunch on a random Monday and had the prefix menu, which was absolutely exquisite. Fresh flavors, great portions, everything and I mean everything was just exquisite. I must stop if you find yourself in Irvington, and order a couple times a week if you’re fortunate enough to live there! This place is that good.”

“Sweetest cafe in Irvington, New York. Clean space, service is smooth and quick, food is fresh, and they have an array of pastry options. We tried the honey turkey sandwich, tiramisu, and cappuccino- everything was just right and the portions perfect. You’ll feel at home inside; ideal for breakfast, brunch or for study. Side note that it is Albanian owned and operated, so we already knew it would be good. Can’t wait to be back! ????”

“What an amazing experience. The food, the staff everything. The chicken shawarma was unbelievable. The staff was so friendly and the owner even took time out his very busy day to thank me personally for doing business there. What a wonderful place run by a wonderful human being.”

“Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. By the time we left at 7:30 there were still 2 high tops available/empty. I’ll still be back because it’s a Broadway but those two things definitely bothered us”

“First met Danny & his family at their restaurant in Upper Nyack, Casa del Mare. It was our hometown favorite & sad when they closed. THEN we found him here, in Irvington! No place better for pizza, garlic knots & many other favorites. They treat you like family & are always happy to see their Rockland families. It’s worth the trip over the TZ Bridge!! Go & see for yourself! 5 stars for sure!!”

“Cool venue, but the food is not 5 stars, except for the Roasted Hen of the Woods and the Wild Mushroom Slippery Noodle (outstanding). For example, the Fried Chicken Dumplings are VERY fried, creating a hard crust that overwhelms whatever little stuffing there is. The Smoked Salmon Fried Rice, was meh, with just enough salmon bits to call the dish "salmon." The braised duck Bao had bits of bone in the meat. It's a cool venue, but based on reviews, I had higher expectations.Four other things need addressing. $0.50 added to each dish and mentioned on the menu, about using that money for "cooks and porters." That should be a management decision and does not have to shared with diners. It's not for the money...it's a distraction to the experience of dining out. The alcoholic drinks are about $12 (way too high) and there are no ice tea refills, so I ended up paying $15 for 3 glasses of ice tea. The service is too fast, clearing dishes the moment you are done and removing dishes of other diners while one diner is still eating. That creates a sense of stress. Finally, there is no signage on the property as to where the restaurant is, so many, wonder about looking for it.”
“Family owned and operated business. Friendly atmosphere with seating available. Food is fresh and delicious. AWESOME! 2nd Review! Within the 3 weeks of their Grand Opening, I have tried almost everything. Breakfast Sandwiches are PERFECT! they even have home made muffins, pancakes, homefries, etc. Lunch I had Sausage Pepper and Onion on a Toasted Wedge. AWESOME!!! Now my favorite, Chicken Cutlet on a wedge with mayo, lettuce, tomato. YIPPEE!!!! A perfect sandwich with great flavor. I'm there everyday, and never had a bad experience with the food, owners, staff, etc. A perfect place for your Appetite ! Welcome to Irvington and Thank YOU!”

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.”

“You probably wanna order take out or delivery, but I ate inside anyway. It’s warm and friendly and Tony, the owner and his chef are amazing gentlemen. The food is five star, if there’s any such thing for a spot like this. I got half house special and half pepperoni. One word = DELICIOSO!!!!!!! New York/Irvington/Tarrytowne’s finest. You WILL NOT be disappointed ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Chazz Palminteri is the place to be. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an amazing meal.
The service is exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and well taken care of.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish is crafted with precision and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re trying their signature entrée or a simple appetizer, the quality is undeniable. The ingredients taste fresh, and the presentation is flawless.
One of the standout dishes is the lobster ravioli—perfectly balanced , cooked to perfection, and served with a delicious side that complements it beautifully. And don’t even get me started on dessert—the cannolis are to die for.
Overall, Chazz Palminteri delivers a top-tier dining experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just craving a fantastic meal, this restaurant is well worth a visit. 10/10 would recommend!”

“There are many vegetarian-friendly options here. The Himalayan and Indian spice flavors are interesting and engaging, without heat overwhelming the actual flavor of the dishes. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient, and the guitarist who plays Sunday evenings is talented, with calming music.”

“The custard was amazing, one of the best my family has had. It was extremely rich and creamy, but not overly heavy and you could ready taste the egg flavor (in a good way). The staff member was also very friendly and knowledgeable about Rita’s, and informed us about how they made the custard fresh every day. Rita’s is our go-to place for custard, and we’re glad we went!”

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. You can tell it is a true labor of love for them. Cin-cin ladies!”
