“The food and service were delicious. We take out every year my next door neighbor for her birthday. Capital grille is her favorite, but I believe Tellers just pushed them with their Beef Wellington!!!!”

“A landmark in Islip! New owner John and staff are awesome. Kleibers Deli has improved in so many ways but still has that down home country charm. The food is amazing!! So happy to have them so close to home. Love walking there for breakfast with my dogs who are always welcome and treated to some bacon every time we go. From small snacks, sandwiches to catering Kleibers is a hidden gem you’ll definitely want to try!!”

“I am a loyal Pizzeria customer but I usually go to their Bay Shore location because I live in Bay Shore. Last Friday I wanted to send a pizza to a sick friend but she lives in East Islip so I decided to use the Islip location. Upon calling, I was told delivery orders had to go thru the website. No problem. I tried and use 2 valid credit cards but the site wouldn't take either of them. I called the Islip location and the suggestion was to refresh the site which I did and still was not able to complete my order so I used a different pizza place. I called back in case there was a problem with their site and then they would know. Again I spoke to Tony and at the end of the conversation he said that he would like to compensate for the time I spent trying to order and that I would have a $25 credit for the next time that I came in. This is what sets The Pizzeria locations apart, not only is their food amazing but they take customer service to a whole higher level than most establishments. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.”

“Went on a Tuesday night which happened to be Karaoke night. It was a fun evening with a full house of people of all ages. I had the Lobster Bisque (excellent) and the fried clams, also good. I intend to make it a regular stop. It is outdoor dining only.”

“I had such high hopes for this gingerbread house. I mean, come on—it’s Christmas Eve, the vibes are immaculate, I’ve got my playlist of Mariah Carey on repeat, and I’m ready to channel my inner architectural genius. I carefully assembled the walls with what I thought was “premium” royal icing (spoiler: it was basically sugary Elmer’s glue). Looked sturdy enough at first. Cute little windows outlined in yellow, a sprinkle roof that screamed “holiday cheer.” I even added a gummy candy garden for that extra Pinterest touch. But then… ambition struck. The roof. Oh, the roof. That heavy, candy-laden beast of a gingerbread slab. I slathered on extra icing for reinforcement, but it wasn’t enough. The whole thing started sagging like a bad facelift. Desperate times called for desperate measures, so I grabbed the Nutella—because nothing says “structural integrity” like chocolate-hazelnut spread, right? I basically mortared the roof on with a thick layer of that glorious goo. For a brief, shining moment, it held. And then… catastrophe. The roof caved in with a tragic crunch, sending gummy bears flying like fleeing villagers. Walls buckled. Icing cracked. And there, in the wreckage, lies the smoking gun: a gingerbread T-Rex, smugly perched atop the rubble with its little candy eyes judging me. Clearly, this prehistoric monster snuck in during the night (or, you know, during my five-minute bathroom break) and went full Jurassic Park on my masterpiece. Look at it—head tilted, arms outstretched like “Who, me?” while the house lies in ruins beneath its feet. The Nutella? It just added a delicious, humiliating glue to the crime scene. Looks like after his scrumptious meal, the T-Rex marked his territory with a colosal dump!”

“- Sobol has become my favorite spot for a pick-me-up! The staff is always cheerful and makes you feel right at home. The food is fantastic—my favorite is the açaí bowl with almond butter and granola. It’s not just food; it’s an experience that leaves you feeling great!”

“This is a fantastic local Steakhouse. The food is delicious and abundant. Was so impressed with the Monday 4 course special Marinated skirt steak and lobster tail. Absolutely great! The lobster tail was only supposed to be 5oz but definitely was larger. And one of the best I had anywhere at any cost. This quality food at these prices are rare these days. This is my 3rd visit and never disappointed.”
