“I walked into this place without much research, just saw a high star rating and proximity from where I was at that time. I thought they offer traditional Japanese style ramen. If that’s what you are looking for, you will be disappointed. The staff, service, and overall vibe were great. I ordered the Classic ramen and it was nothing like the ramen I am used to. Although it was eatable, but too oily and black peppery, it was just a different kind of noodle soup dish. I have tried various styles of ramen in Japan so I can say safely that this is definitely “inspired” by them but not a traditional Japanese ramen.
I see many enjoyed their style so it seems to meet their tastes. Just not my bowl of ramen. That’s all. Again, super friendly staff. No hard feelings.“

“I had the best experience with empanadas last week at the Grove City Food Truck Friday event. As a food truck owner myself I know when food is made with love and made authenticity. This food truck is taking me back to my childhood memories. The flavor of the food on this truck is absolutely amazing. My husband and I were absolutely mind blown. “First time here. We came for the soup dumplings and they were great. Great flavor and a nice selection to choose from. We tried crab and pork soup dumpling as well as lobster soup dumplings. We also ordered the spring rolls pretty good as well as the Singapore Mei Fun which had a great curry flavor and a nice spiciness though it was on the small side for an entree. The restaurant was very small. It had 4 two person tables and 2 large picnic tables with benches that could sit 6 people. Service was not the best and staff not that friendly. Once served they never came to see if you needed something or how was the food.“

“Excellent service, fabulous food. We went on Parmigiana night...which is a special menu: salad or soup, entree(chicken , eggplant, veal or shrimp parm) and dessert for $28 or $32, such a great deal. We decided on salads, veal and shrimp parm, with sides of spaghetti and spinach. Italian cheesecake and cannoli for dessert. Everything was delicious. Lovely atmosphere. You can also order from the regular menu if you're not interested in the special menu, but it's such a great deal...I don't know why anybody would choose otherwise.“

“I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. The food and the atmosphere was wonderful, but Ayanna definitely may be experience worthwhile.“

“Just left Great South Bay Brewery. You gotta check this place out. It's in this warehouse set back from 5th Avenue, kinda unexpected, but that's what makes it so cool. The vibe inside is awesome, really chill, but still feels pro.

And the staff? Seriously top-notch. Everyone there is just so good at what they do, super laid-back but on it. Also above and beyond helpful. I had a flat tire right as I was leaving, and one of the bartenders, I think his name was Mark, saw me struggling. He came right out, no hesitation, and helped me get my spare on.

The crowd there is great too, a real mix of people, which just shows how vibrant Bay Shore is. And the beer, oh man, just a huge variety of nothing but high quality choices. And don't sleep on the food! I was honestly shocked at how good it was, way better than your typical brewery grub.
