“It was quick, fresh and delicious! You can choose purple or white rice, proteins and ~9 toppings. I had purple rice, bulgogi, pineapple, jalapeños, lettuce, zucchini, bean sprouts, corn, black beans, and kimchi with spicy mayo sauce. All good. You cannot go wrong with any combination.“
“Kimchi is, quite possibly, my FAVORITE restaurant of ALL TIME. This place RULES. The staff are amazing! The food is amazing! They are literally always playing Ed Sheeran! This is a MUST TRY if you like Korean food. I can’t comment on authenticity, but it is delicious regardless. I will be coming here for as long as I live.Vegetarian options: Pretty solid vegetarian section of the menu. NOTE: kimchi may contain shrimp paste.Dietary restrictions: They are very attentive about dietary restrictions and can answer your questions if not conveyed.Parking: Use the city lot right by the bus station then walk into the commons to find it.“
“Literally the best Jeyeuk Kimchi in all of the U.S.A. The service is homey and excellent!!!!! I could eat here for 40 million years and enjoy every second of it. Go here! Go here! Go here! Delicious!!!!! Panchan on fleek!!! Mala xiang guo is freaking insane as well. Trust me bro!!!“
“So Poong is my favorite Korean restaurant in Collegetown!! This places serves up homey, warm, comforting dishes that'll be sure to warm you up on a cold winter's night in Ithaca. I absolutely love all their flavors of Kimbap (in particular the Beef and Spicy Pork Kimbaps). The dish is so simple and so well-executed. It's also perfect for take out/a quick snack for college students because of its convenient packaging!I also went and got their R3. Dduk Mandoo soup. Guys, this was the best dduk mandu guk I have ever had. The broth was so warm, savory, filling, and flavorful. The rice cakes were chewy, the vegetarian dumplings were also so delicious. I dream of this soup. I would definitely come back and order these dishes again!!“
“My friends went there because they wanted to eat grilled food they saw in a K-drama, and they were very satisfied. The price, quantity and quality of food were all okay! The server was a little scary. Overall, it was similar to the taste of Korea and I would like to visit again.“
“I have been to Koko a couple times and tried Bibimbap with Calamari as well as Budae Jigae with ramen. It gets the job done for Korean food craving, but not as great as the reputation of the best Korean restaurant in Ithaca. The calamari bibimbap had a lot of lettuce in it, which made it almost like a salad. The budae jigae could have more ingredients in it. The side dishes are not bad at all.“
“The best. As they say, "I hope I die before Asia Cuisine goes out of business." This restaurant can make basically any asian food from sushi to sesame chicken to bulgogi to bento to homemade yakisoba. And if you order for pickup, the food is ready so fast! 2 quick parking spaces on Seneca Street so picking up food is easy. Also, dining in is surprisingly pleasant even if the restaurant looks like nothing special from the street.“
