“This is by far the best pay by weight restaurant in Astoria. Everything is always hot and fresh. The meat is well seasoned and they always have every cut available at whatever temperature you’re looking for! My go to is always a medium rare top sirloin, but I love grabbing whatever fish specials they have from the hot buffet. Last time the salmon was so good it had me wishing I grabbed 3 pieces. Their sides are really hard to beat with their fried plantains, rice & beans, mashed potatoes, and pasta dishes always hitting. Where they really shine head and shoulders above other spots is their desserts. The chocolate coconut cake is so ridiculously good there were times I pounded two massive slices out of sheer desire to keep tasting it. I also love their strawberry shortcake and tres leches. You really can’t go wrong with anything they have to offer. Also make sure you grab a guarana too! I can’t recommend this place enough.“

“Finally got the opportunity to come to this place and I'm salty I didn't come here sooner. It's been a minute since I've had some Brazilian food so I came here for lunch. I'm not even gonna complain about pricing in certain restaurants because it pretty much normal now. I settled on some roast beef, seafood fried rice and some veggies for the pallette. The food was heavenly, especially that cut of beef, it should be a sin for it to taste that good. The seafood fried rice was also enjoyable as well. Probably could've went with some plantains food but by how much my plate was already, I decided to forgo it for next time. The food wasn't the only good thing here, quite a good number of divine ladies on this hot Summer day was a treat for the eyes as well. Very much captured the Brazilian essence of the joint. LOL

Anyway, next time I come here, I'll give their fish fillet a try. The breading looked superb on that.“

“Our choices were guided by past experiences: Lula Fritas (calamares), Bolinos de Bacaulau (top item on appetizer menu. Not with that name.), Salade Via Brasil (enough protein in the lula and bolinos), Bobo de Camaraoe. (Of course, Selecta Silver for dessert). Great service. Ambience.“

“I tried this place at the Bryant Park Winter Village. I had the chicken coxinha, it was so good! It brought a sauce that took the dish to another level. Now that I’ve seen there are multiple locations here in Brooklyn definitely visiting. The starts for atmosphere were because the winter village was crowded insanely! I’ve tried this dish before from an authentic Brazilian home, and the ones I tried here lived up to it. You should give it a try!“

“Visited Fogo in P.A as well as Texas. The food here was good. Just wished everything didn't come out well done. Not sure if that's because most people who visit this location requested well done meat; medium well should also be an option especially for lamb chops.“

“We had a great experience at Calle Dao. We went for brunch, took advantage of the restaurant week special, and also the unlimited drink option. The food was delicious (if a bit slow coming) and the service was friendly. We also really appreciated the covered outdoor seating - with windows open there was plenty of fresh air, but we were still well protected from the rain. I'd definitely recommend it.“
