“I happened to visit New York Fried Chicken on Liberty Ave, Jamaica, NY by accident, and it turned out to be a really good choice. I tried their ribs and fried chicken, and both were delicious. I ordered half ribs, and to my surprise, the portion was huge—definitely more than enough to satisfy. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, just the way it should be. On top of that, their prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality and quantity of food you get. Overall, a pleasant and satisfying experience.“

Am not sure if the potato salad and collard greens have been tailored for NYC market but both were watery and lacked flavor. The corn bread was tasty but had a very crumbly texture. Still a solid southern place in Queens that is reasonably priced with a lot of seating.“

“The Rib Shack in Jamaica, NY is a very popular, decades young landmark restaurant in this residential Queens NY neighborhood. Generations have grown up eating their delicious soul food. The food is prepared fresh daily and ready for take-out. The variety of tasty meats, vegetarian, seafood dishes and deserts are just what the doctor ordered. The staff are patient and friendly.
