McDonald's in Jamaica

“This is the only McDonald's that doesn't give me stomach troubles. I think the other ones don't change and filter their oil regularly or don't have high turnover so they give you old food. The food I get from here always tastes fresh due to the high turnover. Basically lots of people coming and going so new food coming out fresh all the time. But just know that the cops/EMS get called here regularly because there's always some fever dream shit happening lol. It attracts lots of deranged people due to being a McDonald's. People asking you for money, fights in the parking lot, mentally ill people, etc.

Some of the kiosk machines don't even work because once you get to the payment machine you see it's not even turned on. So you have to go to another one. Half of them were out of order or their payment thing wasn't working. Also, the machines never give out receipts. I had a problem with my order but the managers and employees were nice and apologetic. It's a good place to go. They also have a play place. I wish they had more seating options.“

Has about 8-10 tables that can seat 4-6 people and a counter style seating area

During school kids from nearby schools usually visit after school

They have a modern soda fountain that the kids can refill

Wheelchair accessibility: Not quite sure it’s fully wheelchair accessible sorry next time I visit I’ll be sure to check“

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem on Rockaway Blvd!

This McDonald's location on Rockaway Blvd is hands down one of the best in the area. The corner seating offers a great view — perfect spot to enjoy your meal and people-watch or just relax. Customer service is consistently excellent; the staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Management clearly sets a high standard — you can feel the positive energy from the moment you walk in.

Food is always hot, fresh, and on time, even during busy hours. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a casual meal, this McDonald's delivers every time. Highly recommended!“

“I give it a five because the food is good, then there's the rest of the issues at this place. For the amount of people this place serves and it's location this place is way tooo under staffed and small. They need to hire security for the amount of illicit activities occurring here young kids fighting, drug sales and everything you get when you have an large open space in the ghetto and no control. The food is usually good and the location is usually clean.“

Also probably one of your better options if your flight is in terminal 1.

Service was terrible, the guy was on his phone while I stood there and I had said excuse me to get his attention, while paying he again went back to his phone while I waited with the cash in my hands. He was not rude just very attached to his phone.“

“I've noticed from this Mcd’s on Sutphin Blvd. that the day crew seems to care more than the night crew. Night crew I can find no napkins, straws even the center bun of my big mac oh and three times I've had burnt filet o fish. You order during the day and I have no complaints. Big macs are perfect, fries golden brown and fish is also perfectly cooked. So to the day crew thanks for the quality of service and the night crew you need to be dismissed.“

“The staff at this location are so dedicated, kind, caring, and hard-working! I can only imagine working at an airport restaurant is not an easy task, yet they were all so friendly and had a smile on their faces! I spent around 3 hours in this McDonalds and I noticed one worker, Anderson. He came out so much to clean tables, throw away trash, empty trash cans and refill with new bags. He had awesome customer service and I could just tell he puts in so much work into his job!!! Thank you!!“
