About Cedar Run Bakery & Market

Cedar Run Bakery & Market is a charming spot on Hwy 73 that offers a variety of food and household items. The coffee is good, featuring Speedy Earl’s Coffee in whole bean, ground, and hot to-go. They provide ready-made meals, frozen items, house-made salads, soup, sandwiches, and a selection of gifts, including gluten-free options. The shop is cozy and features a mix of regular and unique products, making it a fantastic place to find holiday gifts. The baked goods are made with simple ingredients and come with clear labels for allergies. Customers recommend the snickerdoodle whoopie pie, brownies, and the blueberry cinnamon roll, which is full of berries and has great texture. There are also fantastic pies and locally produced beef jerky, beef sticks, and many other local goods. While some baked items may be disappointing when prepared at home, the store is a local gem worth visiting, especially on the way to Lake Placid. The variety of homemade dishes, salads, and sandwiches is impressive, and the attached liquor store is well-stocked with a mix of great wines and spirits. Cedar Run Bakery & Market is open Friday through Monday, and customers are eager to return for the tasty treats and unique finds.

The market reminds me of a farm store back home, and I’ll definitely come back before my trip is over. They don’t have a public bathroom, but there’s a gas station a little bit down the...read full review

Blackberry pie is absolutely bonkers. Coffee is quite good, just drip and nothing monumental but an easy drinking coffee.
