I decided to indulge even though I thought I wouldn’t like the meal. Much to my surprise I loved the meal and my wife was in all her glory. “The food and service are top tier. The restaurant is extremely clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed the food. We had the angus steak, salmon, shrimp, fried rice and veggies from the hibachi menu. Everything was delicious and expertly prepared in perfect portions.

Kid-friendliness: They have some decent options for kids. We ordered the kids meal from the hibachi menu which included a generous portion of a couple different options.“

“My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
Favorites: Alan roll, Peter roll (as for extra sauce on the side), Cooper roll (not on the menu but was on their old menu. You can still ask for it) and the deep impact.“

“First off we didn't have Sushi. We went there for lunch and our food was fresh, delicious and wasn't expensive. The servers were very polite and attentive and the food came out in in less than 5 minutes after the appetizer. Sitting is limited but we had no problem around 1 pm for lunch. I love the Bento box and had the lunch special. Comes with miso soup, ginger salad (which is mouth watering) and i had the chicken Katsu, with battered vegtables (eggplant and I think pumpkin). My wife had the Chicken Udon soup and it was tremendous. For the appetizer we had the pork Gyoza (similiar to dumplings) and they were light and very tasty.“

Their sushi was very very good, the waiter made some recommendations which I took to heart cuz obviously you knew what he was talking about cuz the sushi was excellent. Excellent. “The manager Cindy is sweet, personable and extremely accommodating as is the waitress also named Cindy. Their sushi is always fresh and the amount of fish in the nigiri and rolls are amazing!!!!As a sushi lover and a personal chef, I highly recommend this secret gem.They are located on the west side of Broadway/Greenlawn Rd., on the same side of the street as 7-11, within a small group of stores.Not to be confused with the other Japanese across the street. That's a completely different story.PS. They have a sushi roll special that's really amazing as a quick takeout.“

“Izumi's Hibachi is so goooood! The Filet Mignon is filled with so much flavor and they cook it well! They made sure our reservation was kept and they sat all of us in a nice section. Our cook was fun and interactive. Their Blood Orange margaritas are so yummy and indubitably-charged!!! I liked my experience a lot. Every hibachi place has their own niche, and for me, this one was their atmosphere, the teriyaki sauce, and the undoubtedly-fresh sushi! ?It doesn't beat my ultimate favorite Hibachi place but it was nice to try something different!“

“My wife and I walked in for dinner without a reservation maybe two months ago at around 6:30 on a Saturday. Since the wait was a bit longer than usual we were kindly given a plate of Edamame on the house. That's when we noticed that our server was working the entire dining room by herself after another called in sick last-minute.Being short staffed is a challenge on any night but this was a packed house on Saturday night with a large number of take-out orders flowing and the team stepped up with impressive dexterity. Given the circumstances mistakes can happen but we didn't notice any.Our meals were delicious, creative and beautiful. We've since returned several times for the great food but the real triumph that night was how well everyone in the front house performed.

“I grew up going there. I always liked it. I would get the chicken and broccoli with white sauce, white rice. I would get wonton soup and shrimp roll. It's been there over 30 years. I don't know if it's new owners, have not ate there in awhile. I think it's been a few years. I have to back and try again. It's a take place, but they have a few tables. I called I wanted delivery which they don't do. I understand the roads are crazy, safety, they are busy cooking. They have I think GrubHub but I don't have any if those delivery apps. Anyway delivery can get expensive fuel charge, etc. Some places don't charge delivery fees, but your still tipping. Anyway they have good lunch specials. If they have cheese wontons I would try. I would hope they would be bid and filled with alot of cheese. Enjoy.“

“First time being at the restaurant, originally thought it was a table serve restaurant but it's actually a casual take out spot with the option to dine in.

Despite seeing a bit of mixed reviews I couldn't say I was hesitant since the photos of the food shared look genuinely worth trying and it exceeded expectations in terms of freshness, flavor, and even presentation
Ordered Sesame chicken combination platter and they do not compromise on flavor.

Each part had its defining flavor even the eggroll tasted as if it was fried in a very high quality oil setting it apart from others I've had. The sesame chicken had the best balance of sweet and savory with the pork fried rice being a standout for me.

This isn't your average yellow friend rice from your favorite hole in the wall but a delicious fried rice with some wok char, bright bean sprouts and the tastiest pops of salty pork. The pan fried dumplings had a very authentic flavor with the perfect crisp on the bottom.

What surprised me more was that this restaurant wasn't really busy, only a few people popped in for their take out order. With such a great experience, genuinely tasty flavors, I'm genuinely excited to revisit and try some more!“
