This place can be good or lousy depending on the day. I’ve had more good meals than bad. Although I got food poisoning from this place one time and haven’t been back since. It was the pad Thai that made me ill. Last bite tasted crunchy and dirty like the produce wasn’t washed well.

Love the food here. Especially love how clearly labeled the menu is, including for potential allergies. Staff is also very nice, helpful, and accommodating.

Not authentic Thai food. Everything was pretty lack luster.

We were so happy with both the food and the service at Yum Yum Noodles. There were so many vegan and vegetarian options, as well as delicious meat options. The roasted pork and pork belly is some of the best I've ever had. The cocktails are creative and delicious. The service is friendly, efficient, and fun. This place is totally worth a stop in Kingston.

We were looking for pho in Kingston and this was pretty much the only option. Unfortunately, the soup they served that they called pho is very far from any reasonable expectation one might have of pho. There was no plate of bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime wedges, sliced onion, cilantro, and jalapenos that any regular pho eater would be familiar with to mix into the savory beef broth on their own. Neither was there hoisin or sweet chili sauce available. Instead, they had sprouts, basil, onion, and Thai chilies (?) already mixed in with soy sauce and sriracha sauce on the table. Other than the out of place chilies everything else was in such short supply that they were unnoticeable. And instead of raw sirloin added to the boiling broth and noodles right before serving, they had some sort of unseasoned grilled steak. But every restaurant in different and I've had pho served in many different ways so these shortcomings could have just been an odd culinary choice that didn't work out if it wasn't for the pathetic lie that was the beef broth. It was flavorless and lacking any traditional pho spices. Beef broth from a carton would have been a significant improvement. They also chose angel hair rice noodles rather than vermicelli, so really a miss in every conceivable way. We had steamed dumplings as an appetizer. The pork in the steamed dumplings was tasty but needed a fresh flavor to brighten them up. The server was courteous and accommodating and the atmosphere was fine. The price was far too much for ok pho and a real rip off for what they served. Go to New Paltz or Albany if you like pho, they don't serve it here.

I visited for dinner with my wife, and the experience was disappointing. After placing our order, we were left waiting for 40 minutes for a simple miso ramen and tofu bibimbap. We noticed that others who arrived after us were served first. When we lost patience and inquired, our food finally arrived, but it was cold, likely due to neglect. Upon mentioning the cold ramen to the waitress, she took it back and returned within two minutes this time(!) with a warm bowl. However, the miso broth was bland, making me suspect it was just microwaved. Overall, it was a pathetic experience.

First of all I want to share how much we loved our experience and food at Yum Yum! We loved it so much , we came back the next day! But our next visit was super weird. We were totally ignored. The wait person came out to bring food for folks outside near our table and didn't acknowledge us at all. we sat and waited for 25 minutes. Based on the day before, I had total faith that all would be well and that they were just understaffed. But, the truth is, even if you are understaffed-say hello-we would have waited however long the server needed, but to be totally ignored was weird. After 35 minutes, we just left. The day before , our server was super friendly, food was awesome! I do not know why the very next day was so weird, maybe we are weird, but I love you Yum Yum-don't ignore your patrons-even if your slammed,I promise we woudv'e waited as long as you needed if you had just checked in with us, I promise we do not have cooties!

The first person who took us in told us to pick whatever seat we liked, she was sweet when asking what we would like. My partner and I ordered ramen and bubble tea. The broth was a little watery but we weren’t being harsh because it’s an Asian cuisine catered by non-Asians.

We had been 10 minutes into our meal. My partner had all the food in the bowl with a lot of brother left over and I still had food and broth that we were both talking and eating in between. Another waiter comes and asks my partner are you done with that and can I bring you the bill in the same sentence. I’ve never had a bill offered to me while still being deep in my meal, as if being rushed out. I think it was within bad taste and the waitress packed the rest of her broth up and gave it to her with the bill and then asked me if I wanted my food to be packed up. I just said no and my partner paid and we both left the food there.

Some customers service could be improved to provide a safe feeling at the establishment. Not sure if they were having issues with people paying, or they were expecting a high volume of people but when we went there only one other family was there. We only spent 20 minutes there between our wait and the meal ending and suddenly having to go after being given the bill.

Walked in and stood for over 5 minutes without even being acknowledged. Only two tables occupied. Won’t be back. Maybe the food is good but the service is a zero.
