“This a quaint little place on route 55 heading east. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. There is a seating area if you want to sit down and eat your sandwich or meal. They have an assortment of drinks and snacks as well. The business is situated on a part of the rode that curves a little and has crest, so you have to careful entering and exiting the property. I love that they have signature sandwiches! Can't wait to try them all. This is another spot my partner suggested when we had down re from our EMS duties. I'm adding it to the list! ?

Parking: Huge lot that is part of the property. Gravel and dirt.

Kid-friendliness: Frequented by lots of locals and there were teens there sitting, eating, and talking. Quiet calm atmosphere.

“This is a primo smokehouse with an incredible deli. But with a twist. It's Bavarian/German as opposed to Italian. And that is really tough to find. And a deli that MAKES THEIR OWN SMOKED and PREPARED MEATS really is a rarity. And they do it well. With a great attitude. They are right off the Taconic, they're near 84, not far off 87, and close to heaven for carnivores. Checkout the website.

“Happened upon this little Gem traveling upstate to visit friends,passing through the small village of Salt Point NY,Looked nice from outside and the reviews for it were good.Have to say the reviews don't do it justice,have travelled all over Ny state and eaten in a thousand places,but none come close to this little hot spot,overall a great experience form start to finish,Both the food and the service were excellent,I had the chicken panini,and my wife had the Philly cheesesteak wrap both were excellent served hot of the grill and came with homemade frys,and a plus also came with Chef Malt vinegar,An American grill with Irish flavors,they also carry a nice range of irish products from candys,chips,bread,sausages and of course Irish bacon and beans,what more could a man want.Overall a great experience,by chance did happen to meet the owner Jim a gentleman who had been in the business for years,would highly recommend this little spot they also do catering for all events both big and small,plenty of parking right outside the door.If your ever passing through Salt Point NY,definitely worth checking out for a quick bit e or to sit down and have lunch or dinner.“

“I recommend this particular deli because it is very convenient especially if there is no time to eat at a restaurant and you are at the mercy of whether a gas station has hot,pre-made sandwiches ready to go. I always come here when visiting my home community of Dutchess County from Albany, NY. Most important, they are friendly because I have no tolerance for inconsiderate customer service. They listen to my environmental beliefs by not giving me items in a plastic bag or they promptly take it out of the bag while reusing the perfectly fresh bag for another customer. He followed through and delivered a large hot cup of coffee minutes later and couldn’t have been more pleasant during the entire exchange.
