“As a military guy I look for good service, polite servers, and good food. It is the best sub shop I have been in, in a long time. It was a great sub and I was able to eat it outside at a table and the help was out every few minutes to see if anyone needed anything else. Please check them out.“

He helped me figure out how much food to order for my daughter's birthday party, and what food to get, and he even told me to give him a call if we were running low and he would have some pizzas delivered right away. The food was delicious, especially the chicken francese and the penne vodka. I'll definitely be using Putnam Valley Market to cater whatever party we throw next! “This deli has the best sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese wedge and they were very generous with the meat. I also purchased 3 beef empanadas and OMG they were the best I ever had. The potatoe salad was home made and also delicious. The staff was very nice and enjoyed speaking with them. I would definitely recommend BrightSide Deli.“

A couple times they messed up my sandwhich and didn’t put tomato but out of all the other times from ordering, I must say they make the best sandwiches made in the City of Peekskill! “always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’. THIS spot which is right across the street has much better/more food options).their menu prices are very reasonable, and the food quality makes it totally worth it.“

“So we were driving through the town of Newburgh looking for a deli to grab a quick bite to eat and came across this place. They had a nice variety of breakfast sandwiches and what first impressed me was the sandwich was made FRESH! The coffee station, meticulous! Not a grain of sugar on the counters and the store was exceptionally clean. Now we tasted the sandwiches, which were done pretty quick by the way, and wow. Like wow! Fresh soft bread, toasted, order was perfect, sandwiches were hot and packaged neatly. My ONLY COMPLAINT is, sadly, they’re far from me. But I’d take that trip for good food, pleasant service and reasonable prices. If you’re passing through that area, definitely check them out!“

“Lous corner have a big variarity of sandwiches and some hot food and all was clean and delicious. Employees are so nice and they have a very large variety of food (hot and cold) and salads.Management changed no long time a go, but no body noticed because all employees still working there and the food still having the same quality and flavor.All types of sodas, beer, coffee and many more to drink.In a few words, you can find there all you need for a breakfast, lunch or for your reunion at home with friends to watch any sport on the weekends.“

“This place is really great for an impossibly cheap and delicious meal. It’s half market, half eatery. My wife is from Peru and got to experience Ecuadorian food for the first time here and she loved it. I’ve been to Ecuador before and I can say that this is pretty delicious and authentic food. “I moved to the area 38 years ago and Maisie’s was already a well established business. I’ve been coming here for breakfast sandwiches and lunch sporadically ever since then. For breakfast it’s always a bacon egg and cheese on a whole wheat wrap with a little bit of ketchup and it’s always perfect. For lunch it’s always a honey ham and Swiss on a hard roll with lettuce and a little bit of mayonnaise and it’s always perfect. They have rolled through owners throughout the years and yet, regardless of who has been running the place, it has been my go to when I need to take my meal to go. It’s not fancy but it’s convenient and gets the job done. By the way, it is very hard to find a deli in the area that has either honey ham or Virginia ham. Most delis around here only stock boiled ham. In my opinion, if the only kind of ham you have on hand is boiled, you have no business calling yourself a delicatessen. This place has honey ham.“

“Man this is my go to spot. The wide variety of food is always good. Ranging from fish/shrimp tacos to freshly made salmon with rice and veggies you cannot go wrong with this deli. Besides hot food you can enjoy all the other amenities of a deli. The staff is friendly and the deli itself is welcoming and decorated nicely. I would certainly recommend this location to those looking for a great meal. 5 stars.“
