“The food is good, but the chips are often not fresh—they tend to be stale and tough. I think adding a little sea salt and making sure the chips are kept fresher would really improve the overall experience. The staff are okay can be a bit more friendly.“

Empanadas- asked for 2 beef and 1 chicken and either they are completely indistinguishable or they sent all beef. There was almost no pico or sauce on them and the dough was very thick. I've never had an empanada with thick dough like that and I've lived in New Mexico and CA, so had a lot of them. Filling was delicious and portion was good despite having no side dish at an entree price.

Birria tacos- delicious and as expected. Again it was the price of a full entree ($18 for 3 tacos) at most dine in establishments but came with no rice, beans, or sides and for this dish I'd call the portion small. My husband would not have been satisfied to eat just this as a meal without the tostones we ordered.

Tostones- These were exceptional. Some of my favorites ever. We cracked open the to-go container to keep them crisp on the drive home and they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you go.“

“First time here and it was a great experience. I went in for lunch and ordered two nopales and two verduritas tacos and a side of rice and beans. The tacos were absolutely loaded and full of flavor. The nopales were cooked perfectly and I loved all the different veggies on the verduritas tacos. They have three different salsas and they were all good, but the morita was the standout for me, it had such a great Smokey flavor.“

Fresco has genuinely become a comfort food spot for me over the years and whenever I’m craving something familiar and affordable this is where I go. It’s a small, family owned local restaurant, and the owners are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. They’re always so friendly, welcoming, and appreciative of their customers. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and the portions are incredibly generous for the price. The crispy chicken tacos are probably my favorite, but the chicken & steak bowl is also amazing. For anyone around the college, I seriously recommend giving this place a try. It’s a much more satisfying, healthier and more affordable option than going to a chain every time. “Me and my girlfriend decided to order Taco Bell through there app for delivery. Upon delivery half the order was missing everything was greasy the baha blast was clear and tasted like chemicals. This came from the Poughkeepsie 12601 location. We didn’t realize this and called the Fishkill location. The man Adam who answered the phone was super nice and understanding. He told us to come down for a refund. When we showed up we showed him the receipt and he explained that this came from the Poughkeepsie location and not them. We were not surprised because we have never had bad food from the Fishkill location. Even thought the food didn’t come from them and wasn’t there mistake he still gave us a full refund 2 new drinks & even a free taco card. We really appreciate him for going above and beyond to help us out! Thank you Adam!“
