“Great coffee, friendly staff, great view. Only downside is that the seating is very limited, at least in the winter (for about 7-9 depending on how comfortable two people get). Not sure if there's more seats on the porch in the summer.

Not a shop I'd choose for leisurely reading/writing/relaxing beyond getting your coffee and going. But worth a detour for the coffee.“

“We have been to Generations many times, consider ourselves locals! We live in Queensbury, NY, so we're able to get there 2 to 3 times a year! Our most recent visit was on May 22, our 54th Anniversary. Generations is our go-to place to eat...breakfast, lunch, dinner or happy hour! The food is so fresh and made to order. The wait staff is superb, especially Desiree, who we had this time...and Megan, who we've had in the past! Great job ladies, keep up the great work! 🩷 We also love staying at the Golden Arrow!“

“I usually avoid hotel restaurants, but this one is exceptional. A medium sized dinner menu, but with a good variety to please anyone. Dishes are very well prepared and tasty.

The place itself is outstanding - a large room with lofty ceiling and gigantic windows overlooking the town of Lake Placid, Mirror Lake, and the mountain backdrop.

I have eaten here several times and will continue to do so while staying at the hotel.“

“We live close to Lake Placid. My only regret is that we didn’t try this place sooner. First let me say the beer was ice cold, server very nice and friendly and attentive. Now the food, best wings by far I have ever had. Just the right amount of smoke flavor and the sauce was nothing I have tasted before. I had a burrito with brisket and every bite had another delicious flavor. My husband had a burger that was also amazing. If you are in the area, this is a must try!“

The were also cold and dry no sauce at all.(except the blue cheese that came open)Called to get a refund for my $25 and the owner was extremely rude. Told me that I ordered, I got it that he doesn't give refunds. Very unprofessional ZERO 🌟 STARS“
