“The most delicious Mexican food I have eaten on Long I since I moved to New York from California 40 years ago!!It is fresh, inventive, well-prepared and nicely presented and divine. This is not your run of the mill rice and beans tacqueria that everyone on Long Island settles for. This is real authentic Mexican, the way it should be.My friend and I ordered margaritas which were perfectly bright, refreshing and served the way they're supposed to be served. The tortilla chips were fresh and the salsa had just the right amount of zing.We ordered the Empanada Mariscos appetizer, a seafood empanada appetizer which was very fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the Enchiladas Campenchano, which looked so delicious, I asked to taste the sauce. She wasn't as familiar with Mexican food. But she absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back. Amazing. Guess what I am ordering on my next visit?!I ordered the mole enchiladas. Can I say OMG!!! Rich, complex, and wonderfully silky and excellent, the mole was perfectly prepared and presented, as it should be, on corn tortillas filled with tender, juicy chicken. The Mexican chocolate in the sauce absolutely sang. Incredible. I had goosebumps!! It tasted like more.Since we were celebrating a birthday we ordered Coffe Flan!! Melt in your mouth, indescribably rich and delicious!!! It was light and smooth with just the perfect amount of coffee flavor. Succulent. The staff surprised my friend with a generous piece of tres leches with a candle on it, and they sang happy birthday to her. She was thrilled.Summary: The ambiance is bright and festive. The service is attentive and warm. The cuisine (yes, cuisine) was incredibleTlhe prices, for this level and quality, were just right and worth every penny.Bottom line: We cannot wait to go back.By the way, they also serve brunch!!“

“From the moment we stepped in, the warm and intimate atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. Our server was absolutely wonderful, attentive and added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. As we moved on to our apps and entrees, we were blown away by the interesting flavors and impeccable presentation. It's clear that the chefs at The State Room are truly passionate about their craft. Highly recommend the shrimp and the beef tartare as each was bursting with flavor. We couldn't leave without trying dessert, which was just as delicious as everything else we had. Overall, a wonderful experience!“

“The pizzeria is like our second home. The staff, food, atmosphere… everything is outstanding. We come here more than once a week. We may be addicted. Uncle Benny and Trifecta 4 Life!!!In the winter, the crowd at the bar is welcoming and the bartenders are always so personable. In the summer, they have live music and an awesome outdoor area to enjoy. They also run specials each week (buy one get one pizza Mondays and buy one get one pasta Wednesdays). They are also great supporters of local law enforcement! We are proud to have this amazing family and business in our neighborhood!Thank you for everything Pizzeria of Bay Shore!Shout out to all the staff: Cassie, Max, Hilary and all of the amazing crew. “We enjoyed dinner at The Linwood on Easter Sunday. Excellent service... great cocktails, delicious crispy cheese curds. Halibut was delicious! My husband had the sliders which he enjoyed. Two people had the gnocchi. My friend thought the gnocchi dish was good but a bit strong perhaps because of the chorizo. We drive from the north shore to the south shore for The Linwood... and we're never disappointed!“

“I took my friend there for her birthday on a Sunday. The server recommended the Prickly Pear Margarita-delicious. She checked on us many times to make sure everything was okay or if we needed anything. We had the corn tamales, tacos and a veggie burger. The food was great, service on point. One of my favorite places to eat. Thanks for a great meal. Highly recommend.“

“I think was absolutely great food but portions are on the smaller side and there is other locations closer for more reasonable price. I spent 80 on sushi and I was still hungry:/ . For that I will be going somewhere else. Not exactly pocket friendly. Cool spot to hang in patchogue “

“Sweet Jane is a sweet place! The staff is very professional and the venue might be small inside but the staff makes sure it does not become overcrowded which is very nice. We enjoyed some delicious cocktails and tasty small plates. I would not rely on the food as a meal. It is more a picking menu. Even though the drinks are pricey, the overall experience is worth the money.“

“Visited for dinner on a Saturday night. Started by ordering drinks, Bourb-Berry and their cider cinnamon drink. Both were extremely enjoyable and tasty, a good size drink without been overpriced. For starters we shared the buttermilk fried chicken which was very satisfying and a good portion to share between 2 people. Our main meals were their old fields burger and squid ink linguine. Both meals were great and very tasteful. Service was very good, our waiter was very friendly and visited our table often to ensure everything was up to our liking. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you are in the area.“

“I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! For two weekends in a row I’ve chosen this restaurant to celebrate birthdays for family and friends. The food is phenomenal and our bartender Gio was fantastic. He was attentive, kind, and had drinks for us before we even asked for them. Highly, highly recommend!“

“The food we got was delicious. My wife had the cauliflower crust flatbread, which was a little sweeter than she expected because of the jam on it, but still very good, and I had the fish and chips. The dunks were also very good and the ambiance was a lot of fun. We sat at the high tops in the bar which is more of the loud and a lot going on seeing...because it's a bar of course which is what we wanted that night, however there were much much quieter and low key tables in the back of the restaurant for the sit down eating experience. This one is now added to our regular list of places to go.“

“My fiancé and I had our engagement party at Bayberry this past Saturday and it was truly a memorable experience. Everything was AMAZING! Melissa, the Catering Sales Manager, was very responsive throughout the entire planning process and worked with us to deliver everything we asked for. Brittany, Ashley, and Gianna who worked the party were SO attentive, friendly, and truly took care of everything - they really allowed us to relax and enjoy our guests/experience. The party ran so smoothly. We have been told non-stop how GREAT the food was (specifically the sliders and the Bayberry Chicken were a huge hit). Guests were also really impressed with the atmosphere and renovations. We felt the space accommodated our guest count of 50 people perfectly and allowed for a cohesive flow.We will always remember our time spent at Bayberry and will be recommending the restaurant to friends/family in the future.“

“Dined here several times since opening over the summer. Service is spot on, food delicious and love the outdoor dining and relaxing by the fire pits. Burgers are very good, (we enjoy the toasted English muffin buns), crab salad on croissant is great. Every appetizer we have tried has been awesome. Nice little place on the water nestled in the marina. We will frequent here often year round.“

“Food was delicious! My onlyComplaint is that the Cajun chicken I ordered was dry :( but hey, could have just been one of those nights. Definitely recommend food from here - always delicious, good amount for the price and the service is topTier!“
“Scott and staff have catered 3 parties for me and I do frequent the restaurant. They are all wonderful and the food is by far the best in the area if not all of Long Island. If you are looking for creative, delicious food you are in for a treat!“

“Love the food here, fresh and delicious. Im a little bit obsessed with their vegetarian tacos. The spicy wings are really good as well. They actually know spicy for spicy food lovers ? Waitress was really nice. Pics on walls are a little uncomfortable if you're with family, but you don't need to look lol.“

“Live piano and saxophone created a classy atmosphere. Julie was our waitress. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing. The drinks were tasty. They even made mocktails for my daughter. Any special requests were met with yes of course no problem attitude. We were celebrating my friends birthday and they brought over the saxophone to sing happy birthday at the table. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back!!“

“My fiancee and I have been going to Northern Coast since shortly after it opened, and it never disappoints. This place is the definition of a "hidden gem", being in the lobby at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Stony Brook campus (you don't need to be a student to go, but students get a discount IIRC). Although it's right adjacent to the lobby with little separation, it's much more than your standard hotel eatery with lots of great New American dishes and a warm, comfortable, unique atmosphere.I've tried several dinner items, and all have been great so far, with reasonable prices, sizeable portions, good variety of styles, all fresh-tasting and "made to order". But, if there's one thing I always go back to, it's the roasted chicken. The skin is so crispy and it has a buttery au-jus that's just divine. It comes with some sauteed string beans that are sweet and flavorful as well. I'd also like to mention the pork chops, brussels sprouts, and the peach melba dessert as well. The service never disappoints, and at least when we went, the vibe of the place is calm and quiet (even with being next to the hotel's front desk). I dig the melodic chill/deep house from the hotel lobby, and I also love the style of the place, it's got a clean, colorful look that feels very "90s tropical". Screens are around that rotate through pictures of the food items. We usually eat there pretty late (it's refreshing finding a place that will stay open till 10PM), so I could imagine this place gets a lot busier and noisier at other times (like around college orientation/graduation, or brunch).I love this place and think it's a great addition to the area. Definitely give it a chance if you're in town!“

“This is a woman owned business and she supports other local women owned businesses. The large, but cozy room in the back of the restaurant makes it a great place to have events. Thanks to the chef, who cooked 3 different types of pasta. In addition, the buffet style food was delicious. The waitresses were attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. The pictures were worth the visit.Parking: Large free parking lot is available in the back of the restaurant“

“AMAZING! We had a private party here and everything was perfect! Our guests have told us this was the best party and keep raving about everything! The food was delicious, as was the bourbon selection/drinks! The music they arranged for us was terrific! The service was top notch! The ENTIRE staff was so attentive, friendly and helpful! I could not have asked for a better evening for my husband's birthday. Chris was so helpful in arranging everything with me and had great ideas, as did the chef with the menu. Joe was fantastic in helping make sure the night was a hit. They even gave my husband a birthday gift, wow! I wish I knew everybody's name to mention them each individually because they were all so GREAT! We can't wait to go back for dinner and to try their other places. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to book a party or for a fun night out for dinner and drinks. Again, thank you all so much for making my husband's night truly magnificent!“
“Service wasn't the greatest took a while to have a waitress come over. Got bottomless mimosas but they didn't put a pitcher on the table, they came around and filled the glas instead which was a little weird and Inconvenient. Food and atmosphere was good tho! Would come back to check it out for lunch or dinner“
“I absolutely love this place. I stop here every time I come to town (twice a year) I have the best time. All the bartenders are awesome and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. If you haven't been you should go. You won't be disappointed.“
“Very nice grilled chicken sandwich but really not enough chicken, great bread. Love crinkle cut fries. Chicken tenders were good. Steak sandwich I'm guessing was hangar steak, tasty but pretty tough, good bread again. Baked clams were the consistency of thick oatmeal, not for me. Cold beer and nice atmosphere. At 52 I was the oldest person in there but 20 years (Sat afternoon.) I'll go back.“

“I went there at one in the morning the night my daughter was born. It was Sunday night so it wasn't too crowded but given the hour it's understandable. I drank a beer and and went home. the people were nice the beer was cold and that night was 26 years ago and they are still there, open for business and standing tall. Over 26 years of being in a tough business, they must be doing something right.“
