“we went to the Boston hotel restaurant for Good Friday dinner. There was a little bit of a mix-up with our order and we had to wait for a little while. The owner came up to us and did more than enough to make it right and make up for it. We were so appreciative of his kindness, generosity and many apologies he gave. Bravo for being such a class act and we cannot thank you enough again for your generosity and making it up to us. We will most definitely be coming back and telling everyone what a class act you are!“

The staff working our event was great, they were very attentive with the food and drinks, clearing empty plates and cups from tables, and accommodating any requests we had. The food was delicious and the bartenders took care of my guests quickly, no line at the bar. Janet (The Cove's event coordinator/part owner) was wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend a private event at The Cove.“

The food may seem like what you have seen on a menu before, but their take on it is absolutely fabulous! I have never had a clam chowder like the one served here. It is amazing! I would return for the clam chowder alone. The sweet potato fries may look typical, but their taste-like nothing I have ever had before. Not sure what their secret seasoning is. The wings rock. We left with doggy bags because we didn’t want to waste any of the delicious food! The chicken piccata, chicken Parmesan- might want to consider sharing! If you have been here before 2023 and been disappointed, you need to revisit! Trust me! And bring even the most finicky of your teens! They will be happy as well!“

“We arrived without a reservation on a very busy Saturday evening for dinner. Seated in a timely manner. Staff was pleasant, courteous and professional considering how busy the Inn was. We were served our dinners within a short wait time. Our meals were served in a pleasant and appetizing presentation, everything was prepared nicely and the tastes to everything was very good. “I actually love this restaurant. I frequent here, because the food is great, the staff is friendly and welcoming, it’s clean, and they actually remember you! There was a time my order wasn’t right, it was the end of the evening (I had takeout), so they were closed by the time I was home and noticed. I called and left a message, and the manager called me back, pretty early the next day. She resolved it, and was just very pleasant.“
