“I only been here twice, and it was very good. I was helped by a girl named Chemeil who was very nice, friendly, patient, personable, and knowledgeable. I got the jerk chicken and it was tasty. The second time I had jerk chicken, rasta pasta, ginger pink lemonade, and a ginger mango drink. I was helped by Stacey another nice, friendly, patient, personable, and professional person. I had a lot of questions about the menu for both of them and they answered very patiently. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.“

“I used to get chicken from the a flushing location, but this one is more convenient for me. I love that it’s not just chicken burgers. I can’t eat carbs anymore, but sometimes I’m craving fried chicken. I love their fried chicken wings and drumettes. It’s so flavorful. They definitely use a bit of curry powder for seasoning. I get the mild. Their spicy can get very spicy for me. Next time I will try the roast wings or whole chicken. It’s well seasoned, chicken is crunchy, and the value for the money I paid is great! This is not really a sit down place. You can but it’s fairly no frills. Best for takeout and delivery. It’s a mom and pop shop so happy to help out. Also, the chicken isn’t overly salted like Popeyes. Good for a fried chicken fix without raising my blood pressure :)“

“Honestly would have preferred to gatekeep but this spot is just too good to not talk about🥹 this comfy lil spot in Oceanside is our new favorite place to get all of the best comfort food: chicken and waffles, smashburgers and fries, and of course, the halal mixed platter 🤤

Aliza at the front counter is so nice and welcoming and the food was so fresh, delicious, and affordable! Totally recommend this spot if you’re in the area or if you’re just looking to eat something delicious!! 100/10 stars!! ⭐“

“I’ve been here several times, and this place never disappoints. My absolute go-to orders are the Grandma and the Soy Garlic fried chicken. The Grandma Flavor is highly recommended—it’s incredibly crispy, fragrant, and the spice level is just perfect (Of course only if you eat it while it’s hot). If you love spicy and crunchy food, you can’t go wrong with this one!

The Soy Garlic flavor is also amazing and filling, especially since it comes with perfectly fried rice cakes (tteokbokki). I also tried their fried calamari rings; they are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and surprisingly not greasy at all.

As for their boba, I personally would say it's solid and absolutely better than big chains. Great food, nice people, highly recommend checking this spot out if you don’t mind wait a bit!“

“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

“My friends around the area recommended this place to me because of the convenience of shopping while waiting for your order. I got the full whole chicken, with the two most popular sauces they recommended, it being the Soy Garlic and the Korean Sweet Chili. The chicken was super delicious and crunchy and wasn't too salty, which was perfect for me! When I arrived, I spoke with a super friendly young girl named Sydney who was super patient and answered all the questions that I had. 10/10 would recommend, I will definitely be coming back.“
