“La Hacienda was a great experience overall. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic, and everything we ordered tasted great. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the establishment as a whole.

What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. That kind of service makes a big difference and definitely added to the experience.

“After moving to LI I tried a few Salvadoran restaurants but by far this one is my go to, the Panes con pollo were Amazing, just brought back so many childhood memories, the pupusas are good the repollo could use a few more days as to me a bit to fresh I like it a bit more cured, but that’s self preference so no knock to them…“

“I’ve been getting my deli meat exclusively here since Covid. They’re great. I can even call in the order in advance and it’s sliced and ready when I get there. Egg sandwiches are also great. “Had a 10 hour layover so stopped off here for a late breakfast. I’m glad we did - we only had $20 between us but we split a breakfast meal and a couple of extra papusas. The food was delicious, tasted fresh and filling. I was especially impressed by how well you could eat as a vegetarian here.

We both left feeling satisfied despite only sharing a plate. It’s a shame the place was cash only and we were low only dollars as I really wanted to try their horchata and some of the refrescos in the fridge.

The place is small with only 3 tables but we managed to secure a place and the guy working there was friendly and prompt.

Will definitely try to check this place out again if I’m coming through Jamaica.

Post Ave main street definitely needs a good bagel place that isn't Dunkin.
