“My family frequents Prime Bistro, and we always have a great experience. The food is consistently delicious — from their perfectly cooked steaks to their fresh, flavorful sushi. They recently updated the menu, and everything we’ve tried has been excellent. While you won’t see a lot of kids in the restaurant, it’s definitely kid friendly, and the staff is always warm, welcoming, and attentive. Prime Bistro is a fantastic kosher steakhouse that we’re always happy to return to.“

“I’m just shy of 50 and this is my first time in LI while residing in NY my entire life. My gf and I came down from Saratoga last minute after our trip to Lauderdale was canceled. We thank Jimmy Hays, his awesome staff and friendly local regulars for their hospitality and overall friendliness. We sat at the bar, felt like I was home at my local favorite establishment. “Visited Ruth's Chris on January 19, 2026 (the day before my birthday) for an early celebration with my wife—overall a good experience, but with some frustrations. The atmosphere was upscale and inviting, though very loud and crowded that evening, which made it feel a bit understaffed. We both enjoyed our meals; service was attentive and friendly, the hostess who sat us down noticed my upcoming birthday (likely from OpenTable) and asked whose it was. My wife pointed me out, and they treated us to a complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch and made it feel celebratory. However, our table was in a high-traffic area, so staff (servers, busboys) kept bumping my chair throughout the night, which was annoying and disrupted the meal. They apologized each time, which was appreciated, but it happened repeatedly.“

“Took my cousin there for her birthday. She had the white peach sangria, and she loved her ribs and steak. The portions are big, so she had enough to take home. I had the steak (med well, juicy) with lobster tail (succulent and delicious) option. So good! Hubby had the pork chops. The waitress brought my cousin a birthday ice cream and sang to her. My cousin truly enjoyed her dinner.“

“I really wanted to be away from too many people. I don’t like crowds too much and my frame of mind was such that I just wanted to sit and eat and just be at ease before my flight. I have had no prior experience with this restaurant nor T5 at JFK to begin with. I was greeted almost instantly when arrived and was seated within a minute. I would say within 15 or so minutes, the food arrived and it tasted delicious. I ordered buffalo wings, fries and a Pepsi. Whilst seated, I looked online for reviews and found it to be surprising since most were negative. I had a brief chat with my server and she was receptive towards my positive feedback. You can see the initial hesitancy at first because she probably figured I wanted to complain but it was the opposite. Her body language warmed up to me and she actually stroked up a secondary conversation just before I left. Basically, you will get better service when it’s not so busy. When I went, the place was 90% empty. Go brave!“
