“I came here a few years ago and I loved it! Ralph's have a huge assortment of flavors to choose from and they offer both cream based and water based ices! I prefer the ice based flavours!The workers are very friendly and helpful when you cannot make up your mind on what to get.This place is only open seasonally and shuts down for the winter months.When it comes tobpaying you can either bring cash and if not they have Venmo so its all good no matter what you have!There are some seats outside the store which is handy as the icecream and the Italian ices are best enjoyed right away!“

I don't really like ice cream (i know, that's crazy right?), but my husband and my kids always go to this place so I decided to try it. It's a super friendly place that's owned by a wonderful couple (Craig & Giselle, I think? I don't really know if that's how she spells it), but I never wanted to try the ice cream. Except today. I tried the passion fruit flavor - and my God, there's nothing like it! You really have to taste it - it's so yummy. And besides, the place is super family-friendly, with super nice people, such positive energy. I will be back soon. 5 stars for Let's Roll in Merrick!“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“Ralph's is a Long Island summer classic for as long as I can remember, and the Lindenhurst location does the name proudly! They have enough flavors of water and cream ices and ice cream that could make your head spin, and they are always adding more. My personal favorites are graham cracker, PB&J, jelly ring, and you can't go wrong with the classics like strawberry or rainbow too. An easy crowd pleaser to bring a bucket along to any BBQ! The girls behind the counter have always been friendly and helpful. Parking in the attached lot can be a lot tight to get in and out of, but luckily it's off the side road and you don't need to worry about Montauk Highway as much.“

It's a Coldstone Creamery, you know what you're getting into.

But the staff is exceptional, we'd been here more than a few times and always had great ice-cream. My keys stopped working and me and my fiancé were locked out of our car late at night in sub 20 below weather. The manager attempted to help us open the car, gave us shelter, and was so kind and supportive. They moved a bench inside for us, checked in and offered so much. They took care of us in more ways than not after an already long and hard day.

Outside of being a good place to get ice cream, I think any locals should support these people as much as possible.“

We reserved a table for Valentines Day and had a wonderful meal consisting of crab cakes, fried shrimp, French fries, vegetables and, for dessert, fresh homemade strawberry shortcake – reservations are rarely needed! “This place is great! We were immediately greeted and encouraged to sample as many flavors as we wanted.

The shop is family forward, laid back, and approachable but the product screams quality! The taste, texture and mouth feel of the ice cream felt premium throughout the 4 flavors we got.

What I love about this place is the creativity. The flavors are all different than the usual stuff, while feeling like your classic go-to. We got toasted marshmallow ice cream with oreos and graham crackers, blackberry with dark chocolate chips, bananas foster, and salted caramel brownie.

The establishment was clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly. A young man named Chino helped us out and answered all of our questions in a professional and friendly way. When we asked for recommendations, he gave real answers and pointed out his favorites. I also feel like the price was great. For the quantity and quality of what you get, its way worth it.

I have been waiting for another great ice cream spot to take the place of Five Pennies and I think this is it. It beats the pants off of anything else in the RVC, Lynbrook, Oceanside, East Rockaway area.“

“Love this place. Wish they had more of them in the city limits. Visited this location, south street seaport and the location in coney island. The staff is always super friendly, the custard and flavored ices are always so fresh. I got the vanilla custard with the cherry ice! (Which has real bits of cherry in it!).
