“Aug 20. Took my sons on a guys only fishing trip on Lake Ontario and had dinner and drinks at this very good tavern. The food was delicious, but the best part was Katie and Bryn were outstanding at seeing to our needs. We enjoyed the service and social engagement. The three of us will definitely return during our next visit to the area“

“I felt the prices of the flights were very fair. My favorite wine was their Rosé.

I only took a little issue to a discrepancy of the ice wine taster, which was listed at $7.50. I actually was charged $9. This didn’t bother me enough to make a comment, but they might need to update their pricing menus a bit.

I enjoyed their little selection of gifts to pick from! They had soaps, lotions, tea towels, etc.

One note as a visitor from out of state: When keeping a tab open, they hold your credit card behind the bar. I was surprised by this, though it wasn’t a problem for me. But, it is not a common practice where I am from, so I figured I would put that here as a warning in case anyone wouldn’t love this. You definitely can pay as you go as an alternative.“

“Beautiful river views at sunset. Mostly outdoor seating. Order at the counter and pick up food to take to the table. Type of food is burgers dogs chicken and fries. The bbq chicken was good, but not great ( grilled chicken breast covered with sauce after cooking“

“What a fabulous pub, the food and drinks were great but the staff are outstanding. We went for dinner/drinks 2 nights in a row when we were in Niagara on the lake celebrating our anniversary. The second night” our 41st wedding anniversary at the end of our meal Kaitlin brought us a dessert and an anniversary card signed by all the staff that Mieriam our waitress the night before had left for us, it really ment the world to us. “We had a great wine tasting here. Booked via the site for €12/pp (I think it’s now €15/pp?) and we could choose 4 wine samples out of the entire menu. We got a short explanation of what each wine was about from the friendly staff and they even offered us an extra sample of their ice wine to taste at the end. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area and want to try a cosy wine tasting. Maybe book in advance to be sure, but they do allow walk-ins :)“

“Nozomi was our server and she did an amazing job taking care of the packed restaurant. We had to wait about 10 minutes to get in but once we were in we enjoyed Nozomi taking care of us with a calm and sweet smile The food was as yummy as if we were in Italy! The Calabrese pizza was a winner. The Caprese salad was very fresh and delicious. I wish they had a restaurant near me!“

“We visited here yesterday, just before going to the show and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Good selection of brews on tap, across the spectrum of styles. They also had a very nice selection of one off sours, in bottles, to sell. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We learned a lot while chatting with him. We loved the clean, modern look of the bar area. We did not get upstairs to the patio, but we will do that next time. What a great place. We will definitely return.“

“I had the pleasure of being served by Ryan during my recent visit to Niagara Brewing, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of service. From the moment we were seated, Ryan made sure we felt welcome and comfortable, providing excellent recommendations for both food and drinks. His knowledge of the menu was exceptional, and he took the time to explain the different beers, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

“Not your average winery. I have been to wineries all over the world from Bordeaux to southern Spain, Western Cape, South Africa and Australia. For a New World vineyard you are getting something special here.

Kevin, the winemaker along with his daughter, verbose knowledge and passion persists in every bottle. The back story of this place is as interesting as the wines themselves. If you can try only one in the Niagara AVA I recommend Long Cliff. Blaufränkish and Sauvignon Blanc are definitely worth trying!“

“I know it's a steakhouse but can't stop ordering the ribs when we come. Ample portions & delicious every time. Had the Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip for appetizer(enough for 4 people) a very nice salad & fresh bread. We ordered the Loaded Baked Potato without salt. The manager, Beckie, was delightful. She took the time to talk with us and made us feel very welcome. Definitely will be back !“

“Very very friendly customer service reps.( I was served by Brigette and Patty..hope I got their names right ) It is not a junky looking cheap souvenier looking store. The prices are reasonable. They carry local. Layout is inviting and lots of room to move freely. Tasting the syrups with pancakes FREE..wow how often does that happen?? Free parking and lots..easy to go in and out.
