They're right by the water, so the view is fabulous. 10/18/25, I came back with friends, today, still 5 star. I had the Chicken Panko, a breaded chicken cutlet over salad, diced tomatoes and a balsamic glaze...delicious. my friends enjoyed their food as well!“

“I recently had dinner at The Lake House and it was fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfectly matches its beautiful lakeside setting — it’s the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed.

The food was outstanding — everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. You can really tell the chefs take pride in what they do. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines great food, amazing service, and a view like that all in one place. Whether you’re going for a special occasion or just a nice night out, The Lake House is definitely worth the visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back!“

“I ended up at Rustic Root twice this weekend. Once for lunch with my hubby. Great Caesar (we shared), followed up with delicious burgers and fries…best buns ever! I liked the vibe so much that when a friend wanted to meet up for a nice glass of wine, that became our destination. Super friendly bartender Hailey, pointed us to the perfect glass tonight. We paired it with a yummy flatbread to share. Great vibe, great food, great service!“

First - A shout out to Luis, our server, for the wonderful service! Now to the food, Our Sage House salad was delicious - all fresh and tasty ingredients! For entrees, I thoroughly enjoyed the super tasty and fresh Frutti De Mer, In a delicious red sauce, this was a best ever, chunks of sole filet, mussels, the tenderest Calamari, and clams. Simply delicious, and with a basket of bread to help soak up all that delicious sauce!!! My other half enjoyed the Cacio y Pepi - Super tasty, another great choice! For dessert, Profiteroles - a puff pastry with ice cream in the middle, served with chocolate sauce and fresh berries. Another great choice paired with a cup of hot, black coffee. A great choice for lunch or dinner and Sage also has Sunday brunch.“

From the moment we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night at 7:00pm we walk in simply based on a great name! The hostess Deanna was lovely and welcoming we were able to sit right away! The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. “This is a Chinese fast food, takeout joint. Our family has been patronizing this establishment for approximately 30 years. They can always be counted on to deliver, consistent quality Chinese dinners without any fanfare, hassle, or surprises. Would I put them in the class as a Ruth Chris steakhouse? Probably not. But I would put them as a reliable, good Chinese takeout that you can count on. They have, of course menu items, but also will customize the dishes to your preference.“

“Fabulous venue. We were promptly greeted and seated. Nola is a classic place with great a fusion Italian menu. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the bone-in veal parmigiana was, quite frankly, one of the best l've had. Without question, I would make Nola's my go-to place for its fare. The owner, Greg, clearly cares about and is vested in ensuring an exceptional customer experience and I highly recommend Nola.“

“Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.“

“There are breakfast sandwiches and then there are BREAKFAST SANDWICHES. I am so happy that I stopped by to try the breakfast here. The eggs weren't drooping with oil, bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly. The ladies were extremely friendly and welcoming. Ordered 4 sandwiches and everyone really enjoyed them. Prices are extremely reasonable and will be coming here more often.

“We celebrated our anniversary at Bijou in Melville last weekend & it was our first time dining there. I was impressed that they have the kitchen behind a glass wall so that you can see just how clean they keep it! Our waitress was excellent, gave us some great suggestions & was all around a very attentive server. We started with drinks. I had the Lychee Martini & he had a drink called The Beckoning Cat. I LOVED the Martini & he said his drink was good but not his favorite. It was a Sunday night so we each only had 1 drink. Next we had an appetizer. We got the Fried Chicken Bao Buns. I was a little disappointed that it came with 3.... since that made it hard to split between the 2 of us... but I ended up having 2 and he had 1 because he could see how much I enjoyed the first one. They are DELICIOUS - the buns were pillow soft and the chicken was cooked perfectly crunchy, and they also had pickled onion & carrot on them. Next I had the the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice & the Blue Fin Toro roll. The crispy rice has Spicy Tuna, avocado, jalapeno, tobiko, wasabi cream & sweet soy (recommended by our server) which was delicious & just enough to fill me up along with the sushi roll. The Blue Fin Toro Roll has mango, cucumber, tobiko, wasabi mayo, chutoro, scallion, yuzu miso & tempura crunch - MIND BLOWINGLY DELICIOUS!! This was the BEST Sushi Roll I have ever eaten in my entire life!! He had the Marinated Wagyu Skirt Steak, which comes with shisho chimichurri & soy demi glace, and a side of Loaded Roast Potatoes. I forgot to take a picture... whoops! I tasted both & they were also delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed the marinade quite a bit. The potatoes were also very good, though nothing to go crazy for. Finally, our waitress asked if we wanted to order desert but we were both too full, so we decided to pass even though there were a few I did want to try. Then she came out with a fresh berry tart with a sparkler as an anniversary surprise!! Well, I had just enough room for that & it was also delicious!! All in all, a great experience and we will be returning in the future, for sure!!“

“Harley's American Grille Restaurant in Farmingdale is great place for Lunch, Brunch or Dinner. The place has been redone with a really nice decor. Menu is not extensive but offers a lot of great options. We had the Chicken Sandwich and the Wild Mushroom Ravioli.- both were delicious. They offer a Wine List. The service was awesome and Jesse our server was just amazing. Parking is hard in the Village but there are large metered parking lots behind all the stores.“
