“At Rosie's it's all about the friendship. It's a place where they treat you like family even when you're visiting from another state. I don't travel much, but when I do, I look for a local place where they appreciate me paying cash.

When I walked in, I was greeted with a rousing good morning from behind the bar. Tables surrounded this tiny place and the bar sat in the center. The aromas of deliciousness wafted through the air. I knew I was in the right place.

I picked up the menu and looked for their house specialty. Then I saw it. The sever carried out this plate of heaven to another patron. I HAD TO HAVE THAT! I don't even know what I ordered but the first bite was like nothing I'd ever experienced. It was some version of eggs benedict and I didn't ask what it was. Now, eggs benedict usually takes four bites per English muffin but this one took six. Each bit was as good as the first until. I admit, it was gone. The home fries were great but nothing to hop around about.

As an author in town for a convention I found the place for the beginning of my next novel titled, right now, "Men without Butts."”

“Had a delicious taste of the Orient while dining at Bangkok Thai & Japanese Restaurant yesterday. 🏯 We were greeted and seated immediately by a very respectful hostess/server. For appetizers, we split Chicken Money Bags ($12.95) and Crab Rangoons ($8.95). The Crab Rangoons were unlike any I’ve had elsewhere—the filling was reminiscent of a cream cheese Alfredo sauce, making it a gooier filling than expected. They were very flavorful. I had Drunken Noodles with shrimp ($19.50) and ordered mild spice, but they still had some kick to them. My friend ordered Pad Thai with shrimp ($19.50) at medium spice, but after tasting each other's, we determined mine was actually spicier. Although you can't see the shrimp in the pictures, there was a sufficient amount. We both enjoyed our entrees very much, and the presentation was appealing. The service was efficient and pleasant, with two people waiting on us. The appetizers came out quickly, and the entrées actually arrived before we were done with our appetizers—which was understandable, as there were only two other diners in the restaurant and the staff was on top of things. The entrée portion sizes could have been slightly bigger, but with the two appetizers, we left full. The total bill came to $62.00, which I believe is in line with most other full-service Thai/Japanese restaurants. The only downside was the lack of ambiance. I hadn’t eaten there since 1990, and unless I’m mistaken, I don’t think anything has changed in terms of decor or furniture. The seats are padded, but the padding is completely worn down. It’s a very dated-looking restaurant, so definitely not the place to go if you’re looking for a romantic dining experience. That said, it was very tidy, and I had no concerns about cleanliness. It was a great meal with excellent service, and needless to say, I won’t be letting another 35 years go by before returning! 4 out of 5 ⭐️'s”

“Tried Tullys after it came recommended from some locals during my last visit to Syracuse.

Has a solid sports bar vibe. All the bartenders were friendly and the atmosphere was vibrant but not to noisey. My bartender jasmine was awesome.

The chicken tenders definitely met the hype. They were not the usual pre cooked crap from the freezer. They were hand breaded and fresh when they came out. The portion size was huge for the price. 2 people could easily split a dinner portion. The tenders were crispy and juicy and totally worth the visit. The fries were nothing to crazy but were good. If your traveling through and looking for a place with good food and laid back atmosphere, hit this place up.”

“We came in for the Sunday special and were lucky to have Sarah as our server. She was amazing. I have celiacs and she knew just what I could have and made sure my order was perfection. From the soup French Onion to my Turkey dinner! The food was amazing. I could not have the Sauerbraten but that is what my partner ordered. He thought the was amazing and was able to bring home a wonderful piece of raspberry pie. (which I could not eat.). But Sarah checked over all of the dessert options to try and find one for me. The food was amazing. Our service was stellar. And we told Sarah we would be back to see her again. Thank you so much for a lovely meal!”

“Nice little pizza place and was a little out of the way for me to visit before work. The pizza is very enjoyable and lite on the cheese crisp crust with a sweet tangy tomato sauce just right without to many herbs or spice.

“We used to frequent here often and always got the burnt ends sandwich with sweet potato fries as one of the sides. The other dish pictured is the regular brisket sandwich with regular fries (I added my own cheese bc $2 for them to add cheese is insane). You used to have to pay extra for that side of sweet potato fries, but not anymore. The serving of sweet potatoes fries is just…sad in comparison to the regular fries. I think I’d rather pay the extra for the sweet potato if it means you’d get a normal serving of them, especially since the other sides are also so small.

Also placed an order at 6:53, was told 25 minutes, got there at 7:15, didn’t get the order until almost 7:50. They weren’t very busy aside from a larger table in the back and a few people at the bar. The wait wasn’t really an issue until the third time being told to come back in another 10 minutes.

The food was sub par. The side of mac & cheese tasted like just plain noodles. The sandwiches were okay, wish there was more BBQ sauce on my regular brisket, it was a bit dry.

I’ll assume it was an off night for them and just dock one star for this and will have to try again another night.”

“This was my first time ordering char grilled wings from here and thought the girl in back who made them did a phenomenal job. Perfect amount of char and the flavor toss was spot on. Please let her know this and to not change a thing, she’s a keeper for sure. I’ll definitely be back for more I just hope it’s a night when she’s there. “This is a regular spot for my friends and I, we love the dinner buffet on fri/sat/sun. Great hot food, good service, reasonable price. The dining room isn’t busy most of the time, but they crank out DoorDash orders like crazy! So don’t let the not-crowded dining room fool you! Its a nice relaxing atmosphere and we never feel rushed.”

“There is not much to say here. It is a Chinese take-out restaurant, and they do a pretty darn good job of making a variety of dishes. I have never had a bad meal from here. The Chow Ho-fun is really good and not something that I usually see. Everything I have ever ordered has been delicious, and there has never been a single mistake made. There is only one other Chinese take-out restaurant I have been to that is on par with China Wongs quality and service. China Wong is a cut above.

My only complaint is that China Wong is noticeably much more expensive than any other Chinese take out place I have eaten at. It is so much more expensive that I don't go here anymore unless the other Chinese place in town is closed for the day and I don't want to go out to the buffet in the next town over. You get what you pay for, at least, but it's no cheap meal here.”
