The food and service are outstanding. Consistently good. I live around the corner and it's our new go to place. The short ribs are outstanding. Noise level can be high at times.
Barney's is a quaint neighborhood gem. The food is delicious, the service and ownership are warm and welcoming, and the ambience is cozy and charming. It's our favorite date-night spot on Long Island for an intimate, romantic night out.
We enjoyed our meal as we always do when we come to this lovely restaurant. It was New Year's Eve so the place was packed but the hospitality and food were still on point. Christine welcomed us as soon as we walked in and had us at a table as soon as one was ready so we could enjoy our meal.
