“I had never eaten in a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant and decided I wanted to try it for my 73rd birthday. I was not disappointed. My husband and I ordered the bucket meal. The total was $35 and we had enough chicken to last 3 days. The french fries were delicious. The mashed potatoes were a watery waste. The coleslaw was delicious. I do not like biscuits so I can't say if theirs are good. But other people like them. We got seltzer instead of soda. All in all, I was not disappointed. I am glad I made this birthday meal choice.“

“Ordered through UberEats which was quick. The food was packaged nicely and arrived hot and fresh.
I had the Oreo Waffles with saucy tenders. While they overdid it with the Oreos which made the waffle very sweet, the waffle itself was tasty. The tenders were great, they put adequate amount of sauce and the chicken was tender.
Co-worker had wings and fries which he gave rave review for.

Overall, a great addition to our rotation of take out restaurants. I would recommend this spot.“

“Order via Uber Eats. Uber eats messed up and told me I need to contact the store. I contacted the store and they were so helpful and cleared everything up. Wings were really good as well and a good size. Definitely ordering from there again.“

“Atl wings halal. Got a little bit of everything. Sweet potato fries,wings with sauce,Mac & cheese bites. My favorite would probably have to be a chicken wrap and the chicken and waffles. The quesadilla was good. I love how they write customize words on top of their boxes at times. I think it’s so cute and sweet. Would it take a little while, but it was a Friday night. Couple seats inside to sit in. It has plenty of parking. Staff is very chill and kind. Would like if they left like ketchup on the side.“

“1st time here was a miss due to incorrect order, but gave the benefit of a doubt and they been hitting since :). Food taste great and fresh. This location along with the one in farmingdale are my go to spots when craving. Definitely worth getting if you are hesitant.“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“I have been passing this place for a while now and finally decided to give it a try. It was delicious! The burger was fresh and hot as was the chicken wrap. The cashier was super friendly. There were a lot of people coming in out and picking up orders and everyone was greeted nicely when they picked up their food. Was not cheap like fast food like I thought it would be but was very worth it as the portion sizes are a lot more substantial and filling than fast food. Definitely would return.“

“We went in for an early lunch around 11 am. We had been wanting to go to try some halal korean food for long. They do have halal certifications on their wall, but they also serve alcohol there. We asked the attendant, and he confirmed that they do serve alcohol but they make sure not to contaminate the rest. Its a full service restaurant.

We ordered:

1. Crazy nachos 6/10
2. Bulgogi over rice 9/10
3. Korean fried chicken drumsticks and thighs (sweet chili) 6/10
4. Crispy chicken burger 7/10
5. Strawberry lychee tea without boba

Crazy nachos were good, but i think for $20 its bit expensive as there were too many chips with not enough toppings.

We didn't want to go with super spicy, so we ordered spice level 2 sweet chili fried chicken. We think it's more on the sweeter side than chilies as being on level 2 there should have been a little tiny kick. We did request them to give us some mango habenero sauce on the side. He was kind enough to serve some. It tasted well and had that spice kick. Fried chicken was crispy, crunchy, and juicy.

Bulgogi over rice was our favorite. Beef was well cooked and well seasoned. It was missing the egg on top. We didnt realize until later.

Crispy chicken sandwich was nothing crazy but good. Fries tasted fresh.

Strawberry lychee tea was good. Loved the way they serve it. As we were one of 1st customers of the day, the attendant said he won't be able to add bobba as it takes some time to prepare it. Which worked for us as we are not a big fan of it anyway.

The attendant was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The Washroom was a bit old and not super tidy. He mentioned the wait time for food would be 20 to 25 minutes, but I think we got all a little earlier.

“So today I was craving fried chicken and I was thinking KFC sucks. Popeyes is OK I went to that new one in Merrick Campo something it was alright let me tell you this place is outrageous Best Korean fried chicken I ever had. The pieces are gorgeous and meaty and the skin is amazing. You know the batter I show my new place love love love it. The rest of the Chinese food is really good too let me tell you. This is the chicken place to go to.!!!!“

“Their pizza is the bomb! My compliments to the chef. The two gentlemen were very pleasant and courteous. The presentation of the pizza was neat and lovely. On my drive home from the restaurant, the smell was awesome, and I couldn't wait to get home, so I could dig in! The pizza tasted as great as it smelled. I will be visiting them again as soon as possible.
Just to update: I have visited them 3 times since my first time and I have to say their pizzas are great! I've tried three different varieties, and you can taste the difference being that it's halal, you can taste the difference in how healthy the ingredients are, you're getting better quality ingredients and better quality food. I take time out to drive miles to them just have their food because the service and the atmosphere it's always great they're so pleasant with you, they treat their customers like they're family that they haven't seen in a long time that they missed. The chef Gurbinder does a fantastic job and the presentation is always great.“

“I love Chickin Box! My boyfriend and I order takeout from here at once or twice a week. Consistently delicious food. Some of our favorites are the wings - we usually get lemon pepper, hot honey, or bbq. You can’t go wrong with any of those flavors - all very good ! We always get the sweet potato fries when we get wings. We also usually get the soul rolls which are a must have here . Some of our other go to dishes are the lamb chops with a side of asparagus , the shrimp tacos, or the Rasta pasta with salmon . Overall I would definitely recommend Chickin Box the food is deposit and fair priced . I want to try dining in next time.“

“⭐ 1 Star — I got seriously sick after eating here.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt obligated to share what happened. After eating at Fat Ernie’s, I came down with Campylobacter, a serious bacterial infection caused by contaminated food. This isn’t just food poisoning — this was 6 days of severe stomach pain, diarrhea, fever, and fatigue. I had to see a doctor and was put on antibiotics.

I’m extremely disappointed and concerned about the food safety and cleanliness standards at this place. No one should have to go through what I did just from grabbing a meal. I hope they take this seriously and make major changes in their kitchen practices before someone else ends up in worse condition. I will never eat here again — and I strongly suggest you think twice before you do.“

“Pretty typical neighborhood bar — pool table, dartboard, and a big food menu with all the usual favorites. I came in for the wings special I saw online, but it turns out the menu I found was about nine months old. Instead, it was Taco Tuesday. The tacos were good, not amazing, but definitely decent bar food.

The bartender/server was super friendly and kept things moving even though she seemed to be handling most of the bar on her own. The wings looked great when I saw a few orders come out — and apparently, they’re only 50¢ each on Wednesdays from 7pm to close, so I might have to come back to try them then.

Overall, a solid, laid-back spot for a casual night out.“
